There are several living and dining areas and ample en-suite bedrooms on the second floor for family, children and guests. A surprise special feature was the rooftop terrace for enjoying cocktails while watching the beautiful sunsets.\\n\\nAlthough Villa Federici is an easy 45 minute drive from Rome and a 30 minute drive to the Rome (FCO) airport; when we were sitting by the pool in the sunshine or strolling in to town for dinner it felt like we were a million miles away.\\n\\nIvan, the house manager, was so warm and helpful. After arriving late after a long day of travel he suggested we dine at a local seafood restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner al fresco while watching the sun set over the beach. He even arranged for a driver, at the last minute, to take us to Rome for dinner on our last evening at the Villa\\n\\nWe enjoyed a day trip to Tivoli and also took the train into Rome for sightseeing and lunch. There is a great local coffee shop next door to the building. There is also a pizzeria next door. The food was delicious and inexpensive. We also dined at a Michelin star restaurant located a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The best part of our stay was that we were able to walk after dinner to the pantheon and other gorgeous monuments all around the apartment. I walked to the hair salon, grocery store, and fashion stores. Truly the best location you can imagine in Rome. The communication with the owner and the local property manager was excellent. The apartment is very spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There are two mini-split air-conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and they kept the apartment very cool even in August.\\n\\nThe kitchen was extremely well stocked. I didn’t cook any full meals during my stay, but I easily could have, as it had everything needed to prepare complete meals. I also really appreciated all of the extras that were provided, including laundry detergent, soap, shampoo and other basic supplies.\\n\\nThe apartment is up two flights of stairs. This did not impact me at all, but I think it is worth mentioning for anyone who may have difficulty with stairs.\\n\\nOverall, I had a great experience and the location really cannot be beat.
