Relaxing in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful week at the house with our overseas adult sons despite the wind and rain. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. The location on the beach front is special and we enjoyed our time at the house but also it is within easy walking distance to the Whitianga Ferry. There are plenty of fun family games to play and it was a very relaxing time for all. Bridget was wonderful with her communication and all our other emails with her. Private Beach and Real-Home Comfort

Front Beach Bliss was unreal! The views of the bay are stunning, and having the beach right in the backyard made it feel like our own private paradise. The house is bright and thoughtfully laid out. Everything is well equipped and beautifully maintained. You can feel the care that has gone into this home. The location is ideal for exploring the Coromandel. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, Shakespeare Cliff, Cooks Beach, and Mercury Bay Lookout are all within easy reach. Bridget was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout. Tranquility at its best!

What a delight to stay at a guest house that is actually a HOME and not just a rental. It makes such a difference on the fit and finish of the items the house has to offer. Thank you for letting us stay in your home and using your bikes and amenities. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience it was to just sit on the casual deck overlooking the peaceful beach and taking dips in the ocean to cool off. I loved the rustic home and feel it would be great for families or a few close couples We hope to get back soon!”

Amazing!!!!

We recently visited New Zealand and had the opportunity to stay at this lovely home. The location was truly amazing; so beautiful. The beach was right in the backyard. Each night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards & bikes. It almost felt like the beach was a private one, because many times we were the only ones. We enjoyed taking the Ferry to Whitianga. It is an adorable beach town with shopping and restaurants. It was a wonderful week and would love to return.”

FRONT BEACH BLISS

This home is like an old friend. It felt completely comfortable and welcoming from the moment we walked in - and directly to the beach behind. If you are willing to take the 2 plus hour drive or -( even better!) the single prop Barrier Air Plane…..from Auckland, the reward is a beautiful private beach and quiet towns to bike or ferry to….. this more than makes up for the investment in travel. I am finding this is an unexpected value in Third Home - I am going to places off the beaten track, but where others have found value in less touristic amazing places! Bridget is a welcoming and responsive hostess and you can see the love she has for her house!”

A dream Bach in paradise.

This is such a special place! Ita a very well set up Bach in a beautiful part of the world. Very close to the shops with a quick ferry but still quiet and secluded. Theres lots to explore in the area. Our family had a wonderful and we hope to be back. Thank you for hosting us :) ”

Magical stay !!

Wow ! This house and the beach in front are just spectacular . The owner said use all the beach toys and there are plenty of them ( if your comfortable with being on the water) . We did all the recommendations on Bridgets list throughout the Coramandel but most of all we just relaxed , took swims, fished , drank coffee at sunrise , and absorbed this spectacular view from lawn out across the sea ! Loved every minute of it ! We will be back …”

A Wonderful Stay at Front Beach Bliss!

Our stay at Front Beach Bliss in the Coromandel was delightful. The house boasted stunning views of Maramaratotara Bay and Shakespeare Cliff, providing a picturesque backdrop for our vacation. Equipped with all the comforts of home, the house made for a cozy and convenient retreat. It was just my sister and me traveling, so we used one of the apartments, but there are two, so there is plenty of room for a group. We enjoyed exploring the area, with activities like kayaking, boating, hiking, and wine tasting readily available. The nearby Whitianga Ferry offered easy access to town, where we found some great dining options and a fabulous spa. Within walking distance is the fun Eggcentric restaurant that makes fantastic breakfast and cappuccinos. Bridget was great with communicating with us. We would love to go back sometime.”

Front Beach Bliss was blissful indeed!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful property. The two separate units were great for allowing guests extra space and privacy. The kitchen and bath were were well-equipped. A big plus was the abundant outdoor space and lots of "toys" and games. Location is convenient to all attractions and restaurants on Eastern Coromandel, but Front Beach was definitely our favorite beach and we were content to hang out there most of the time. ”

Peaceful and perfect

This is an excellent location, the beach was so quiet and we loved being able to just slip out the door, down the steps and sit to watch sail boats or read. It is long enough for a good walk, lots of shells and soft sand. The ferry to Whitianga is convenient and kind of unique, town had everything you could want or need. Home was well equipped, would be a great place to bring a family, we only used a small percentage of the rooms. Rooms are not large, but we were there for the beach, so not a big deal to us. The sky at night was incredible from the deck. Loved riding the bikes over to Whitianga. This was the end of a four week excursion for us, so we enjoyed the quiet very much. Owners communicated all the information we needed and it was an easy in and out. Thanks for sharing your home.”

Beach Bliss

We fell in love with Front Beach and all the luxe and thoughtful touches at this delightful property. Bridget has thought of everything—from the welcome gift of New Zealand goodies to the paddle boards and kayaks and everything in between. The home consists of two units, both smartly designed to maximize views of the bay and blue sky. The bird-themed art throughout the home adds to the peaceful vibe. The location is perfect—we felt like we had our own private beach and then just minutes later we could be enjoying a coffee in the bustling town of Whitianga via the ferry. The SeaCaves boat tour was a highlight. Don’t miss a chance to experience this special place.”

Amazing location and fabulous hosts!

We arrived at Front Beach Bliss in February 2023, just as the cyclone was coming in. While the rain and wind pounded around us we felt protected and comfortable in this cozy space and enjoyed amazing views. The hosts were very kind and checked on us constantly and made us feel cared for. The storm did lift after a couple of days and we were able to enjoy the amazing beach that felt completely private. We would love to go back and explore this beautiful area.”

Incredible location with amazing views!

This home had every wonderful amenity that you could ask for. It was so comfortable and we walked on the beach every morning. We kayaked out in front several times. The Ferry takes you quickly to the town of Whitinaga, where you can find anything you need. Local restaurants are great too. We are ready to back again :-)”

Idyllic, special place

Incredible location, 3 hours from Auckland and a great we to spend some time away with the family on the beach. Quiet and stunning. The house is a back split into 2 units but we only used one. Not luxury but you don’t need that in such a place. Thank you for letting us share your special place.”
