June 2026Spectacular scenery and wildlife - Big 5 plus lots more
Booking our stay was seamless and so easy. We were guided all the way through the process by Keith. Also a hugh thank you to Helena and Livinston. An amazing team. The staff at the lodge were very friendly and helpful. We found our accommodation first class. You just never know what to expect when its the first time in a wilderness area. The meals were delicious and nutritious. They catered for varied diets and nothing was too much trouble. My favourite night would be the Boma meal (authentic SA outdoor bbq with a massive bonfire) Wifi was adequate in the lounge and dining room for comm's back home, esp for the teenagers who needed to check in. The early morning game drives were a little crisp, however a pair of gloves, beni and the super warm poncho's provided by our safari guide kept the chill out. A scrumptious morning tea provided a welcomed treat at one of the many open grassed areas on the savanah plains each morning. The afternoon drives always provided more adventure. Everyone eager to be the first to spot an aminal in the wild. And the afternoon sundowners were an ablsolue soul restoring treat. Overall the hospitality and warmth given by all the staff was first class. Thank you to everyone at Tsheshepe Lodge for making our 1st African safari the best experience ever. ”

December 2023Absolutely amazing!
Keith was amazing walking us through the entire process of getting 8 of us to the lodge. It is an absolutely stunning property. Livingston and his staff are awesome. It was our first time in S. Africa and we saw the big 5 in 4 days at Tsheshepe. It is incredible to have the whole property for your group. The reserve has other lodging and all the guides work together to see game. If you are in S Africa do not miss a chance to stay here.”

July 2023Magical!
If you have a chance to book Tsheshepe Lodge-do it! Keith Stannard was our contact and he was so helpful and kind with our millions of questions (none of the 9 of us had ever been to Africa so we needed lots of hand holding!) The lodge is luxurious while also feeling laid back. We had the place to ourselves as it is only available for one group of 10 at a time. The staff absolutely spoiled us with gourmet meals and a sparkling clean lodge and guest houses. We couldn’t believe all of the animals we saw up close and personal with our game driver, Elias. He grew up in the area and his knowledge, love and respect of the land and the animals was so inspiring. Livingston is a gourmet chef and manager who outdid himself 3 meals a day and obviously loves his role at Tsheshepe. Helen and Johanna kept our rooms clean and cozy and did lots of laundry for us. They even sang for us on a couple of nights and moved us to tears. Simon was always around when we needed anything and his charming smile and soothing presence was greatly appreciated. I would love to post photos but can’t see a way to do that here-I did tag Third Home on my photos on IG and FB. This was the trip of a lifetime for us and our friends. Thank You Keith Stannard for making it available for us! ”
