The entrance is very misleading, a little door on the street but once inside it is magnificent. There wasn’t any tourist information/maps at the house. We had to go to the tourist office downtown to find out about things. The owner and his wife run this small 9 casita resort and they are there all the time making sure your stay is 5 star! On site is horse back riding which I did... being a horse lover and also did a full day body treatment which was beyond 5 stars. It is an easy 15 minute drive into downtown San Miguel. The owner will suggest places in San Miguel to visit and dine and he is like the \\\"mayor\\\" of San Miguel so if Juan Carlos sends you, expect the royal treatment in San Miguel too. There is a fountain and large swimming pool, which is framed by an elevated open outdoor sala pool house - complete with a fireplace. The pool is 20 feet by 40 feet and 13 feet deep. The fountain is also a hot tub. Surrounding the swimming pool to the right are three spacious, and comfortable bedrooms along a gallery hallway. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe end bedroom has a King-size bed, large closet with private shower bathroom, concealed TV, and gas log fireplace. The center bedroom on the ground level also has a fireplace with walk-in closet with lots of storage. A full bath with double sinks and twin beds. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe third bedroom that is nearest to the house has a King-size bed fireplace and full bath with shower and tub. Under the landing is a charming cantina and powder room. From the Rotunda entry one can either take an elevator between all levels. Or for a little exercise one can walk up and down the cantera spiraling staircase. \\r\\n\\r\\nOn the main level off of the main entry and overlooking the swimming pool are two more bedrooms. And you may want to stop and buy fans if you visit during a warm part of the year as the house does not have AC. The nights drop down and cool house off in time, but a fan helps.
