April 2015Perfect, private and spacious villa with stunning turquoise water views
We recently returned from a one week stay a Villa Starfish. This three story villa was absolutely perfect for those looking to get away from it all. Located in a high-end gated community just south of Georgetown the villa is a short 10 minute drive from the airport. The villa has floor to ceiling windows from the great room, dining room and the chefs kitchen with expansive views of the beautiful turquoise waters. In addition, there are four private bedrooms, four bathrooms and a top floor office (also with great views) if you need to mix vacation with business. All of the rooms are comfortable yet well-appointed with high end furnishings. Steps outside of the villa was a large infinity pool also looking out onto the ocean. While the island is a must visit for those who want stunning beaches, turquoise waters, and quiet relaxation there are lots of activities, including many casual restaurants to venture out to along with boat tours (by none other than Evvie our house manager - https://www.facebook.com/islandboycharters) to some pretty amazing sandbars and lunch at stocking island. Our favorite restaurants included Big-D’s Conch Stop for conch salad and fried conch, Stocking Island for lunch and a lively atmosphere (a short boat ride away) and Exuma Point Bar and Grille for a fabulous Sunday brunch (for only $20). All in all this was a great experience and we thank our host Cathy for sharing her wonderful home. Jon, Terri, Jim and Carolyn ”

June 2012Bahama Beauty
Lovely, well appointed home on the ocean (harbor) with pool. Sleepy town of Georgetown, Exuma where boating is a must to take advantage of all there is to do. While chartering a 25 footer, we stopped to swim with a pair of wild dolphins, hand fed wild stingrays - thinking about Steve Irwin as we did - ate fresh conch ceviche on Stocking Island, snorkeled in the Thunderball Grotto - see scene where Bond is lifted out of the grotto by helicopter - fed wild swimming pigs, fed wild iguanas on another island, swam with a "school" of nurse sharks. And on other days enjoyed the ocean front pool and just walking from property into the harbor water. Helpful owner and very helpful house manager. Only caveat, everything IS expensive. Recommended!”
