Great location for recreation
We had a great week outside Livingston over July 4. The Livingston Rodeo, fishing the Yellowstone and Boulder Rivers and hiking local trails. Great restaurants in Livingston. Easy access to the Park. Fantastic fishing guides introduced to us by the owner. The house is nice with a huge living area and wrap around porches. Mary Sadowski, the owner was terrific and very responsive. There were a few minor maintenance issues that cause me to give four stars versus five. All easy to fix. This is a great house for a small party to enjoy the best of Montana. ”
Great home for exploring Yellowstone National Park
I loved staying at this cozy home in Montana, and the owner was so friendly! The home is large with 3 bedrooms, two living rooms, a hot tub, a large porch and breathtaking views of nature in every direction. The décor is inviting and mainly tones of brown, with added antler lamps and skin throws on the floor to give it a country feel. The backyard keeps this vibe in tact with the pool being a natural rock pool with a small cobble stone beach and wooden reclining chairs. While the home is lovely, a great advantage of Elk Run is its location. You are right by Pine Creek Lodge for music and food, the Yellowstone River for fishing, and Chico Hot Springs and Resort to enjoy a swim, horseback riding or a fantastic meal. Livingston also has a cute downtown. There is a local brewery and great cafes. Yellowstone National Park is just a 50-minute drive away from Elk Run. This park will leave you breathless - I ended up seeing bears and bison! The beauty of nature here is second to none, with geysers, waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. You won't regret visiting this area, I can't wait to go back someday!”
We just returned from a wonderful week at Elk Run. The views from this property are spectacular. Its location in the Paradise Valley offers enough seclusion to escape the rat race with easy access to Livingston or Bozeman for adventures and necessities. The close proximity of the Pine Creek Cafe for food and entertainment adds a unique option during the stay. This home is well appointed, well kept and well designed for a family get away--absolutely First Class. Taking a day into Yellowstone Park during your stay is a highlight and a must. The Paradise Valley itself has a rich native American history that is intriguing. For fisherman, this location offers the best variety of options for accessing southwest Montana's fishing. Prime fishing varies throughout the year so do your homework when picking dates. The owners of this property are extremely organized and helpful. Thank you Mary for a wonderful week!”

Large, fenced yard with creek, pond, hot tub and ping pong table that kept the kids busy for hours entertaining themselves! Plus lots of board games in the loft area, which is a great hangout for the kids. Charming Pine Creek lodge with live music Thurs - Sat only a 1/2 mile away and less than an hour to Yellowstone.
