February 2018A Week at Telluride Hideaway
We had a great week, with wonderful friends, in a beautiful mountain home. The proximity to the Galloping Goose ski run was perfect, especially for the beginner skiers in our group. The views from the Mountain Village neighborhood were stunning and we loved experiencing Telluride without the crowds. ”

August 2016telluride hideaway
Our group ranging from 6 to 10 people ages 35 to 60 stayed in this home late August, 2016. The house is beautifully decorated and accessorized. The towels were super soft and the kitchen is large and has all the toys and devices for any time of cooking and glassware for all occasions. Even comfy robes are provided! The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of wildlife. The best part of it is the great room which is very comfortable with multiple sitting areas and very cozy. There is a steam shower and a hot tub. I recommend it highly!”

August 2014Telluride Gem
We recently stayed a week in this spacious, beautiful home at Mountain Village just outside of Telluride, CO. We were impressed with the large, well stocked kitchen...not only ample cooking utensils and dishes but little extras, like spices, paper towels, plastic wrap and baggies....all things we normally need to purchase. We all enjoyed the house so much we ended up cooking dinner in five of the seven nights. The bed in the master bedroom was ultra comfortable, an important fact, since I have back problems. Each bedroom is oversized and has a large, private bath so each of our guests had plenty of room. The main level living room and dining room is beautifully appointed and has a rustic but elegant mountain feel. It is just a short five minute car drive to the (free in the summer) gondola which took us directly to the center of town in Telluride. There is also a well stocked, upscale grocery and liquor store at the mountain top, less than a five minute drive from the house. We drove in from Denver, which took about seven hours. Our daughter flew in from Washington, DC to Durango and then rented a car and drove two hours to reach Telluride. Other friends flew from SC to Grand Junction, CO and drove three hours... so there are several options for getting into Telluride. There is an airport in Tellluride but flights are expensive! Telluride is a quaint, historical mountain town, with beautiful hikes in the surrounding areas. Our favorite hike was to Bear Canyon to the double water falls. We also took a jeep tour over Imogene Pass and everyone in our group loved it! Bring warm jackets and hats (even gloves) as it gets CHILLY at the top of the pass. Be sure and visit the informative and well done town museum and learn about the early days of Telluride. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in Telluride and this beautiful home and would highly recommend it as a vacation destination. Sincerely, K. Kay ”
