March 2019GREAT ALL AROUND!
Whether ski season or in a beautiful Rocky Mountain summer, Black Diamond Lodge is fantastic. We were just there for the last week of ski season with an approximate 10 foot base of snow at both Deer Valley and nearby Park City. The entire staff at the Lodge was the most accommodating, friendly and professional group we have experienced. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and their recommendations were spot on every time. They work as a team, so every request is handled by any staff member present. You don't have to wait for a manager, or a front desk person or a concierge. They all know every duty, and are very happy to help. We did not have a car, but they will take you anywhere in Deer Valley or Park City in an Escalade or Mercedes Sprinter upon demand. When you are ready to return to the Lodge, they will pick you up within about 10 minutes from receiving your text. Truly fantastic. The condos are quite large with 2 balconies (one with a good size spa). Picture windows are across the front yielding great views of the slopes and mountain. The location is unbelievable, as you go to your own ski locker and put on your boots, the ski valet lays your skis on the snow for you to click in, about 20 feet away. The bedding was top notch, kitchen well-stocked, and great appliances. The decor was beautiful (very Rocky Mountain), but we understand that redecorating is taking place. We could not have been happier, with the hospitality, location, or condo. We never spoke to nor met the owners, but we certainly want to thank you for allowing my wife and I to be guests in your incredible home. Ski vacations can be a lot of work. Not at Black Diamond Lodge! ”
