The Ritz Carlton Residences, Bachelor Gulch - 2 Bedroom
Ritz Bachelor Gulch is an extraordinary Alpine experience that brings together the wonders of the Vail Valley and Beaver Creek.
Endless trails lead to quaint towns, to families and friends and to the spectacular world around us. Each season and every day brings new adventures.
In winter, enjoy skiing the slopes, snowshoeing through powder, sleighing on the winter roads and skating in a postcard perfect winter wonderland.
In summer, relish in rafting the rapids, golfing the fairways, riding the trails and hiking through fields of wildflowers. And here, at home, every care is attended to. Steam rises from slopeside pools and hot tubs.
Enjoy dining on the terrace in every season, an authentic Western bar, as well as Wolfgang Puck’s signature dining experience – Spago.
There is an acclaimed spa and fitness center and, of course, luxurious residences that offer panoramic views of forests, slopes and the valley beyond. Perhaps best of all, are the endlessly pampering and personalized services that are the Timbers Resorts’ trademark.

Not a Typical Ritz-Carlton Residence Unit
First, let me say that we have been spoiled by Ritz Carlton Residence stays at Northstar Tahoe, San Francisco and Aspen. We have also enjoyed stays at the Timbers Residence Club at Bachelor's Gulch. All of those properties have been amazing. This one, not so much. This is not a home in a Ritz Residence Club. The listing is inaccurate. The pictures of the unit in the listing are not pictures of the actual unit. They are pictures of residence units in the Timbers Residence complex, located next door to the hotel, which is no longer part of the Ritz-Carlton property in Beaver Creek. This is what the Ritz calls a "residence unit" inside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Bachelor's Gulch. As such, it is essentially 3 hotel rooms connected via adjoining doors. Basically, a hotel suite. We picked up this unit, last minute, inside the 3rd Home 30 day window so we did not need to use any keys for it. Although the unit was minimally acceptable at a discount, I would have been very disappointed if keys were required for the reservation. We only stayed for 2 days of the 7 days planned. No fireplace, no deck, no music system, kids running up and down the halls, understaffed valet, along with a host of "hotel feeling" amenities that were constant reminders that we were inside a hotel. and not in a residence complex. So, in summary, we are spoiled. This is a hotel suite, not a typical Ritz-Carlton Residence. Know exactly where you will be staying before you book.”
