What a Privilege!

Wow! It was such a privilege to stay on the beach in this beautiful home! Barbara was such a gracious host and always responded even over the Holiday. The home is an Old World Mansion beautifully decorated on the beach. A very nice back yard with grass was perfect for our family and dog and the grass was great to remove sand from our feet before returning home. All of the bedrooms were fabulous and luxurious, but the Master was too much! This was the best Master suite we have ever visited. There is a large patio/ veranda off the Master BR overlooking the ocean. We loved this home, our family loved this home, and if we ever get back to the East Coast we would try to stay here again. Beautiful Beachfront Location

Our group of eight really enjoyed staying at this beachfront home — the location is absolutely perfect, with just a few steps from the back door to the sand. The house itself is large and comfortable, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy time together. The owner was very kind and easy to communicate with, which we truly appreciated. The home feels more like a personal residence, which gives it a cozy touch, but it is quite cluttered throughout. There wasn’t much room on the counters, tables, nightstands, or in the guest bathrooms and closets for our belongings, and the interior felt a bit dark. The pool, unfortunately, wasn’t in usable condition during our stay, but with the ocean just steps away, that helped make up for it. While the location and size are wonderful, it’s clear that the property management or cleaning team hasn’t been maintaining the home to the standard the owner would expect. When we arrived, the outdoor trash area was overflowing — though tucked out of sight, it was still a bit of a nuisance that we went ahead and handled ourselves before departure. We also recommend bringing your own beach chairs and umbrellas. Despite these small issues, the space and location truly can’t be beat. If you’re looking for a roomy home right on the beach and don’t mind a more lived-in feel, this property offers a wonderful setting for a relaxing getaway.”

Myrtle Beach Oceanfront home

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful oceanfront home. The neighborhood is very nice and you have a private walkway to an almost private beach. It is close to all the activities in Myrtle Beach and so many restaurants. The home is beautifully furnished and the views are spectacular. ”

Incredible Views and Proximity to Beach

My wife, sister and brother-in-law stayed the week starting Labor Day and had a really nice visit. The communication from Barbara was perfect from the get-go and she even was able to push back my start date by 2 days to accommodate concert tickets I had previously purchased. Upon arrival, a beautiful welcome basket greeted us. Over the next week, we spent time mostly on the upstairs deck enjoying the gorgeous views of the ocean and brought some chairs onto the beach - which was just steps away from the house (making it simple to go back and forth from the home to beach). We never really strayed far from home during our week visit other than to some nearby restaurants which were recommended by Barbara and were terrific. We would highly recommend this property to Third Home owners and look forward to returning in the future.”

First Trip to Myrtle!

Two Families (4 adults, 6 kiddos) were more than comfortable. Gorgeous house right on the water. Couldn’t have asked for a better home to spend our first trip to Myrtle. ”

Location Location Location!

Perfect location right on the beach which was not crowded since it was a bit away from any hotels. We saw great fireworks on the 4th from the back deck. The pool was great for young kids because it was not deep. It is a personal residence with lots of lovely things and custom decorating. Very comfortable beds and furnishing and lots of space. Our family had a wonderful time.”

Had a great time at the Beachfront Mansion with our family during Spring Break. Enjoyed daily walks on the beach and a couple rounds of miniature golf. Paradise in Myrtle Beach!

Wow! We enjoyed the most memorable week at this lovely home located directly on the the Myrtle Beach oceanfront!. You can feel the owners’ charm and warm hospitality in every nook of this lovely French chateau themed home. The inside accommodations were truly amazing, but perhaps our favorite feature was stepping outside the home to its personal beach oasis! This home is a jewel! We truly did not want to leave and enjoyed making memories with our family to last a lifetime!”

Amazing stay at this magnificent Myrtle Beach beachfront home. You step out onto a beautiful green lawn and walk onto the beach in front of you. As the public entrances to the beach are not close to the home, this area of the beach is more private and less populated. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding, good water pressure in the shower, and beautifully decorated, reminiscent of a French chateau, we had a fabulous stay. Highly recommend!”

His house and setting were absolutely the best we could have hoped for! The house is beautifully furnished with designer touches throughout. The bedrooms are spacious and the master with the deck to ocean, is incredible. Speaking of ocean, our spot on the beach was uninterrupted by others. Perfect access to the warm water and shallow surf. All restaurants, shopping and entertainment are close and easily accessed as well. This is the perfect beach getaway!”

Southern Hospitality at its Best!

Our stay in Myrtle Beach was a lovely family vacation in a beautifully decorated beachfront mansion with breathtaking ocean views from most of the rooms. Barbara was so very accommodating, allowing us to add an additional night onto our stay so that we could have more time to visit with friends meeting us from Georgia. We arrived to find a thoughtful basket left for us, filled with snacks, visitor guides, a lovely hand written note, and a bottle of wine left for us. The home is perfect with comfortable seating areas that more than accommodates two families inside and out. Only a few steps away from the beach, with a pool as an additional option you will have a wonderful time staying at this home while in Myrtle Beach. This house is truly special including the perfect location with direct beach front access. We stayed for a week with 4 children, had a lot of fun in the pool, in the spa and of course surfing on the beach... The Dunes Golf course is in 10 min driving distance... I can recommend for a perfect sun/beach/golf holiday....”

Beautiful House

It's a beautiful place, right on the beach. Layout was perfect for my in laws on the main floor and my wife and I upstairs in the spacious master bedroom with amazing outdoor porch. Crazy views from here! If there was a negative, it's that there is not much room for guest clothes, etc., since this is the owner's primary residence. But the owner was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
