Villa Sevillano - Santa Barbara
Beautifully situated on 22-sprawling acres, this classic Italian Villa truly evokes old world charm while offering an array of amenities and modern luxuries. Magnificently manicured grounds encompass terraced formal gardens, rose gardens, orchards of citrus trees and more than 200 mature olive trees for which the property is named.
The main house boasts exquisitely designed indoor/outdoor living spaces making use of the perfect climate for which Santa Barbara is well known. The gated entrance leads to an impressive tree-lined drive, past a circular way, which opens up to a large grass-tiled motor court. The red-tiled roof, white stucco exterior and limestone columned entrance set against the expansive green gardens and the Pacific Ocean make for a dramatic impression.
The Master Suite offers 1,200 ft. of comfort and luxury complete with travertine and marble tiled bathrooms, ornate ironwork, and 50-year "Pisolo" linens and bedding. Two sets of French doors open to your private, oversized patio overlooking the equestrian field, with sweeping views of the Pacific beyond.
The Master suite also includes a King bed, sitting area with wet bar, His and hers en suite baths and dressing areas, His and hers walk-in closets, safe for valuables, Multi room audio system, two gas fireplaces, private jacuzzi terrace with mountain and ocean views, and a custom foot-board cabinet housing a flat screen TV.
The first guest room is often considered the second master -- this guest room offers lovely views and privacy. Featuring a King bed, en suite bath with shower, flat screen TV, multi room audio system and balcony overlooking formal gardens and grounds.
The second and third guest rooms are highlighted by lush mountain views and stunning ocean vistas. The second guest room contains two studio queen beds, while the third has two studio twin beds. Both have en suite baths, each with oversized bathtubs and showers, flat screens and multi-room audio systems.
The fourth suite is located on the main floor and boasts the convenience of its own outside entrance with a short path leading to the two bay garage. This suite includes a queen bed, ensuite bath with antique marble-inlaid wooden sink commode, and flatscreen TV and multi-zone Sonos audio system.
The fifth private guest room doubles as the Villa's staff quarters because of it's convenient location with direct kitchen access and private entrance. With a king bed, wet bar, sink, small refrigerator, en suite bath, and flat screen TV.
With its year-round sunny skies and endless array of activities and experiences, Santa Barbara is the ideal place to vacation any time of the year, and Villa Sevillano, while privately tucked away in the rolling foothills, provides easy access to all the area has to offer. There are not enough words to describe the peaceful, beautiful and relaxing home in Montecito, Ca. The owner gave us a gracious welcome and tour the time we arrived. The gardens were manicured as like those in Europe and we had fresh lemons from the fruit trees each morn. We sat and overlooked vistas of mountain ranges and glimpses of the sea. The property was adjacent to polo fields and we watched magnificent horses and athletes perform. This was truly a home to enjoy. God planted his boundaries here for sure.
