Austria Haus was great for our family. The accommodations were perfect. The views were great from our multiple balconies of Gore Creek and the slopes. The proximity to everything in Vail was perfect. Walk to the lift, ski school, shops, restaurants. We never touched our rental car for the entire week. The breakfast downstairs was a great amenity and was always tasty! We would love to stay here again.”

Convenient, comfortable and in a great location!

From the time I checked in when they accommodated me two hours early, it was perfectly convenient. The property is both residence and hotel, so all of the amenities of the hotel, including daily cleaning came with the residence. It was located perfectly in the village with a very convenient ski locker at the base of the mountain. The apartment was very comfortable.”

Walk to covered bridge in 1 minute. Boutique property, friendly staff. Roomy, well equipped condo. Our unit had access to a ski locker at Gorsuch - think this varies by unit but was certainly a bonus for us! ”

Our stay at Austria Haus was truly wonderful, with the sounds of the river below our room to the location, walking distance to the Betty Ford Alpine Garden, and amphitheater, restaurants, and farmers market & festival right out the front door. The 3 bedroom condo was beautiful and comfortable. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. ”

We love staying at the Austria Haus and have already done so several times in the past. Breakfast options have improved (though still have not quite reached pre-Covid levels), the units are very nice and the skiing is great. What’s not to like. Will definitely return.”

Hard to get better than this!

We had a terrific time during our week at Austria Haus in Vail. What a great property this is. Excellent service, great breakfast buffet every morning, perfect location less than a 10 minute walk to the gondola but they provide a ski locker at the base so we didn't even have to carry our equipment back and forth each day. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. The condo was very big and very comfortable. Would absolutely return if this was available in the future.”

Everything at the Austria Haus was great. The location is as good as it gets in Vail and the unit was very nice and perfect for our 3 couples. The free continental breakfast we a great way to start each day as well before hitting the slopes. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return. ”

The place was nice, the staff very nice and accommodating and the morning breakfast a very nice touch and location in the village was great! The only issue was there was no air conditioning for the entire unit and we had to open all windows and heard very loud people all night long, so did not sleep well.”

Like being in Europe

Great location just outside covered bridge, very clean, high end appliances, concierge uniformly great, great coffee and cookies in afternoon, fireplace warms you the second you walk thru the front door, 1/2 block from great skiing museum and walking tour. Gore river adjacent to pool. A few blocks from Betty Ford gardens. Did I mention the Aspens changing? Oh, and a breakfast I'm still suffering withdrawals from. We had a excellent week at the Austria Haus. Great breakfast buffet. Perfect location in Vail Village, and they had an arrangement with the Ski House next to the gondola to store our skis and so we didn’t have to carry our skis each day. We will definitely be back if we can!”

Austria Haus is OUTSTANDING!

My young daughter (7) and I visited the week before Christmas to Vail and were lucky enough to stay with the Austria Haus. The front desk and concierge made us feel very welcome immediately. Paula was so kind and helpful with all of our planning, parking, and rotating guests. Nothing was ever and issue and her guidance made our visit perfect! We reserved a three bedroom suite and couldn’t believe how well it was laid out. The kitchen, dining room and living room provide a central area for our group to spend time together. The three separate bedrooms and bathrooms allowed for lots of privacy. We all really enjoyed the morning breakfast in the entry area with a roaring fire and plenty of seating. A huge spread of different breakfast options were provided daily and a mix of omelettes, ham/cheese croissants and other delicious treats were provided through out the week. The housekeeping were outstanding! Daily cleans and suite spruce ups were always appreciated. We truly enjoyed the location in the center of Vail Village. We were able to jump on the bus just out front, the Starbucks right next door, ice skating a 2 minute walk and restaurants for all tastes. An absolutely perfect visit to Vail! Thank you Paula and the entire Austria Haus team for making our visit 5 star. We can’t wait to come back!”

Everyone raved about the breakfast, particularly the smoked salmon, pastries, etc. The location is perfect, right on the river and walking access to most everything. Their staff are very accommodating. Sitting in the hot tub while snow coming down was a highlight.”

Just the fact that we returned to the Austria Haus for a second year in a row should say it all. Like before, we enjoyed not only the friendly service, but the spectacular location in the middle of Vale Village. Lots of activities along with various markets/events/shops were available. An additional plus is a consistent breakfast with a reasonable selection of cold offerings as well as the bonus of omelettes cooked to order every Wednesday morning; a treat I look forward to when I return. Be aware, however, that they have plenty of restaurants and bars close by, and as a result, it can be a little noisy in the evenings. But if you want a place with lots of activities just steps away and great customer service, you will love the Austria Haus.”

Spent a very enjoyable week here. Loved the unit and the location couldn't have been better, though there was so much going on in the village that it could sometimes be a little noisy at night. Outstanding housekeeping service and attentive front desk staff. Breakfast provided was a little limited and could use improvement, but all in all had a blast, so much so that we hated to leave. Would definitely stay here again. ”
