Perfect Thanksgiving break

Spain trip review We went during ‘low’ season for Thanksgiving week in 2021. The place was much better than we expected for 1 key: large, nicely furnished, and bright. Beds were very comfortable, and we had a nice patio with direct access to the pool. I can imagine that during summer-time the pool is very busy and loud, but we did not experienced any problems with noise as all outside pools in the resort are closed during winter. Our Villa was magically cleaned every day no matter what time we were going out. It was so nice to go back to a perfectly clean place every time. We got full 3 bedrooms, even though the description said it was a 2 bedroom apartment, so every kid got their own room - a great plus for teenagers. The service staff was very helpful. They gave us very detailed directions where to go and what to see in the area. Currently the resort provides only private (very expensive) tours due to Covid, but we did not miss very much driving ourself. During the trip we were able to see all the highlights and attractions of Granada, Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, and Estepona. We ate at the resort the first night, and the food and service were very good (the local shrimp dish is highly recommended), but the local food is also excellent in the area. There were many resort activities offered, but we only used the resort indoor pool and hot tubs. The indoor pool felt almost private as no one else was using it later at night. We absolutely loved our experience as an active family, but winter season is probably not the best time to go for beach activities even though Estepona has perfect weather year-round. The resort has a direct access to the beach and provides all beach supplies. We saw plenty of people tanning on the sand that we found a little strange in November. We loved our visit, and would absolutely go back!”
