Ngoma Safari Lodge, a very special place
If you had to choose only one safari location in Africa, Ngoma Safari Lodge in Botswana should be the one. Ngoma Lodge is truly 5 Star accommodation. The views from the very private bungalow reach out across the African bush past a water hole and on to the Chobe River. You simply cannot believe the number of wild animals you will see walking past your unit every day. Going on safari in Chobe National Park was a rich, unique wildlife experience, filled with close encounters that will remain fresh in our memories for the rest many years to come. The staff were professional, genuinely friendly and were there to serve the needs of the guests at any time day or night. the preparation, quality and variety of food was outstanding and Sam the bartender really knows how to make a Martini. The managers, Jaryd and Francis went out of their way to make my wife an I feel welcome. They made every arrangement for all our daily safaris which included both land and river safaris and arranged a day trip to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe that went off without a hitch. They arranged private transportation to and from the border along with assistance with getting our visa. Our guide M.K. was a superb naturalist, being able to identify by sight and sound over 350 species of birds. His professionalism and astute observations of the behaviors of the different animals we encountered elevated our daily safaris to a much higher level than one would normally expect from a safari guide. My wife and I came away with an experience of a lifetime and that was due in no small part to the expert attention to detail provided by the staff at Ngoma Safari Lodge. We would recommend Ngoma Safari Lodge to anyone wishing to experience Africa at it's best. ”
