A historic castle nestled amongst the trees that line the Hudson River, Lord's Castle is a historic getaway destination that will transport guests to another time. Only forty minutes from the heart of Manhattan, this castle boasts thirty rooms, including nine bedrooms, a yoga room, and a library paneled with rich mahogany. If the history of this 200-year-old home doesn't keep you entertained during your stay, exploring the numerous rooms and 20 acres of land surely will.

Aside from the main house, Lord's Castle also features a separate cottage and horse barn, making it the perfect home for a family reunion or a getaway amongst multiple families. The nine bedrooms are entirely spacious and feature cozy beds with luxe linens.

The castle's fully-equipped kitchen will please the chefs of the group as it is equipped with all the appliances, utensils, and counter space needed to prepare a five-star meal. Be sure to take advantage of the formal dining room, lined with paneling that dates from 18th century Northern Europe, and dine like royalty.

Since the first stone of Lord's Castle was laid in the 1840s, this home has continuously undergone renovations to keep it up to date with all modern conveniences. As any castle should, the residence features paneled salons with claw foot sofas, a soaring tower with fleur-de-lis pained windows, and most importantly, Wi-Fi and central heating and air. Spanning across 15,000 square feet, there are endless options for reception and entertainment.

For guests visiting in the warmer months, the backyard is full of endless entertainment. Guests can float all day in the large pool, explore the grounds, or lounge on one of the covered porches. It is peaceful to watch the snowfall as the Hudson River rushes by or gather around one of the home's 15 fireplaces and share stories during the winter.

To truly complete your regal stay at this residence, Lord's Castle comes with complimentary Butler and Maid service. Service housing is located on the property, but is separate from guest housing.

Lord’s Castle, Piermont, NY

Lord’s Castle is an exceptional and historically significant building, but the real value is how the hosts have done so much to bring it to a standard which reflects historical values. The staff support was also exceptionally generous, supportive and worked hard to anticipate needs of our group. We had a week that none of us will forget. ”
