March 2018A week of pampering in Paradise
Where to begin? Having never been to Casa de Campo or to the Dominican Republic before, none of us knew what to expect aside from quickly reading a few pages from a guidebook before our week long adventure, Casa de Campo is the Beverly Hills of the Caribbean, who knew? Not us. What a surprise, everywhere we looked everything was well manicured and take are of, including the four of us! Our home away from home was lovely, beautifully decorated and comfortable without being pretentious. The ladies who looked after us, cooked for us and tended to our needs, were such a delight. Between my broken Spanish and their limited English, we got along famously and I even learned a few new words. We tasted new foods, new recipes and had a lot of "firsts" on this wonderful vacation. It was so nice to be able to do nothing, or swim in the refreshing pool or go for an adventure each day and come home to the ladies welcoming us and asking us what time we wanted to eat dinner. It was truly an exquisite week that we shall never forget! Communication with the owner before, during and after our stay was very helpful and very much appreciated. He was truly a gracious host. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”
