Spacious, near the beach, but needs updates

We were in the property for almost two full weeks around Thanksgiving 2018. The home is spacious, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, and a short (3 minute) walk to the beach (though the ocean is not visible from the property) However--it needs updating. Some of the upstairs bedrooms smelled of a bit of mildew, the TV is the old boxy style from the 90s, and the whole home needs a bit of polish. Granted--its a beach house, and perhaps we overstayed our welcome by using it for two weeks, but it could be more comfortable with newer, nicer furnishings. Will also add the owner is responsive to calls and texts, which is great. Shops, eateries, taverns, etc are just three minutes away, so the location is very good at the island's south end.”

Wonderful property, wonderful hosts

If you want a spacious, beautifully appointed home that's a short stroll to the beach look no farther. We totally enjoyed relaxing at this well-furnished property that was convenient to restaurants and shopping although we did little of the latter. The easy walk to the wide, uncrowded beach with available services for beach chairs and umbrellas was the equivalent of maybe a block and a half. Our host, Jim, was very responsive right from the start in answering our several questions including telling us about his favorite restaurants which we explored. We highly recommend 21 Sandpiper for your next Hilton Head retreat!”

The Perfect Hilton Head Beach House

This home exceeds it's Third Home description: it's huge, very clean, tastefully and comfortably furnished-the perfect large family/friends vacation house. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this house is just a 5 minute walk to HHI's Coligny beach and a short bike ride to beach shopping and restaurants. There are 6 bedrooms with en suite baths, modern tvs in every room, a built-in sound system, and a heated pool and spa off the pack patio if you're not into the beach. If you love to cook you won't be disappointed-the kitchen has every piece of cooking equipment imaginable, plus there's a large gas grill on the back patio. Two laundry rooms! ”

We had a great stay at this property! It's at a great location on Hilton Head close to the beach and other places of interest. Renting bikes is a must to tour around and ride on the hard packed sand on the beach and along the excellent bike paths throughout the island. The house was clean and comfortable with lots of room and a nice pool and hot tub to enjoy! We'd return!”
