Connected via stairs and a lift, the main level has been beautifully designed and renovated to bring the outside inside as much as possible. There are seamless transitions between the living spaces and the outside decking.

The kitchen is a chef's dream with top-end appliances and everything you need to cook and entertain.

The third bedroom is within a well laid-out self-contained apartment which has private access, a bathroom, its own kitchen and a huge outside balcony. An ideal separate space for older children, grand parents or friends.

The Northern Beaches are a very special part of Australia. Heading up the coast you will be spoilt for choice in terms of beaches. Curl Curl, Palm Beach and Bilgola are favourites.
Take a trip out to The Basin from Avalon. Don't forget to bring a pic-nic or some food to cook on the bbqs. A lovely day out

Sydney - you will have driven through it to get to Clontarf, but a great way to get into the city to explore is to take the ferrt from Manly that goes right past The Opera house and into the CBD.
Try and catch a performance at the Opera House if you can
Manly is just a 10 minute drive away and it is awash with shops, cafes and excellent restaurants.

Beautiful property and wonderful people!!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely Clontarf Retreat. The host family was extremely kind, communicative and flexible. The home has spectacular views in a quiet bay and easy accessibility to both town and Manly Beach with all the comforts required. No better view or set-up in Middle Harbour

My family and I were very privileged to have been able to spend a few days over Christmas at the Clontarf Retreat. It is an immaculate home from top to bottom and has been beautifully designed and furnished by the owners. Perfectly situated between downtown Sydney and the Northern Beaches, the Clontarf Retreat has an unrivalled view of the harbour and direct access to Sandy Beach which is a haven for families. It is a very safe swimming spot and there is a great play area for kids. It is also the perfect launching post for the Clontarf to Manly walk which takes you around the coves and presents some breathtaking views. While at the house, we spent most of our time on the deck and BBQ area enjoying the view and watching the huge colony of bats return to their resting places in the local trees down at the beach every evening. A simply magical spot! Carolyn had prepared everything and provided some lovely fluffy beach towels and, thoughtfully, some games for our girls to play with. Thank you very much to the QB's for letting us stay at short notice. It really made our Christmas and we would love to come and stay again given the opportunity. ”
