Awesome in Paris
Very nice apartment in one of Paris' toniest neighborhoods. Everything we needed and ideally located one block from Musee D'Orsay. Thanks so much for sharing your home.”
Amazing Apartment; Superb Location!
We stayed at 47 Rue de l'Université from August 9 thru August 16, 2014, and the experience that we had was beyond words. Upon initial booking of the apartment, I received a detailed and well put together welcome package from the Elite Destination Homes concierge, Chelsea Swenson; which included information on day trips, airport transfers, bike rentals, restaurants and popular spots for tourists. As the date of arrival drew closer, I was introduced via email to local concierges, Olivier Fourcade and Justine, who were very helpful and responded quickly to any and all inquires I had. Upon arrival, my guests and I were greeted by one of the local concierges, Justine, who gave a tour of the apartment; we greatly appreciated her warm welcome and professionalism. Everything about the apartment itself was nothing short of amazing; we arrived to a delicious box of macaroons, a nice bottle of wine and great coffee waiting for us. The amenities that the apartment provided were some of the best we had ever experienced. The apartment's phone was set up with a service which provided us with free unlimited calls to the United States; this was a great and unexpected surprise, as we could keep in touch with our close friends on the mainland as well as keep up to date on business. The location of the apartment was superb, we were within walking distance of the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame and the Batobus (river tour along the Seine river and bus tour to the famed Paris attractions). Restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and souvenir shops were all nearby, so we didn't have to venture too far from our street to shop. The apartment was clean and well managed and on top of that, a mid-week house-keeping service was also provided; this was a definite plus! In conclusion, our stay at the apartment was quite enjoyable! The week went by way too fast! ”
Location, location, location
We had a wonderful stay in this centrally located property. It is within walking distance to d'Orsay, Lourve, Notre Dame, etc, and yet on a quiet residential street to relax after a busy day of sight-seeing. Train and bus stops are five minutes away. Cafe, bakery, and supermarkets are closeby. The apartment is professionally managed. The agent greeted us on site to hand us keys and gave a tour of the house upon arrival. There was a mid-stay cleaning included. It is an exellent base from which to explore and experience Paris.”
