Pristine property at the Greenbrier
We stayed in a four bedroom cottage on the grounds of the famous Greenbrier Resort. Charles's property is absolutely pristine! Top of the line everything - furniture, beds, bedding, etc. When booking the property, you have access to all amenities at the Greenbrier which includes restaurants, shops, swimming pools, fitness center, golf, shops, casino club. We spent a lot of time in the small town of Lewisburg which is about a fifteen minute drive from the property. Spectacular restaurants and shopping and one of four Carnegie Halls in the United States. If you can get in a live performance, it would be worth the visit. One of the highlights was visiting the Salt Caves for a massage and facial. A very unique experience and a fabulous time. Thank you Charles! You were a wonderful host and we so appreciated your communication!”
Our family had a great time and enjoyed all the activities the Greenbriar offers. We rode horses, went bowling, ice skated, did clay shooting and did the outdoor obstacle course, We also escaped from the escape room! We would also recommend the Bunker tour which was so interesting. Our grandchildren loved the adventure zone and the afternoon tea the hotel offers each afternoon. They also enjoyed chess and checkers offered in the bar area while the adults enjoyed cocktails. Our estate home had a good location and the floorplan was very good. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The shuttle was so convenient and always prompt. We all agreed that this was one of our best vacations! Karen Campbell”
What a perfect place to spend some time. Greenbrier was an amazing mix of history,, activity and quiet times on the veranda overlooking the beautiful hills of West Virginia. With 4 master suites and a spacious great room, there was plenty of space for friends to enjoy. Don’t forget to visit lewisburg, the “coolest small town in America! “. We loved our stay...thank you to our hosts who made it so easy to enjoy the area! ”
Great stay at *America's Resort*!
Our family had a wonderful time at the Greenbriar and gladly give the house and owner 5 stars!! The owner was really helpful and we appreciated all of his good advice. The house has four beautiful bedrooms with en suite gorgeous baths with large soaking tubs and walk in showers. The big living room was a great place for us to gather as well as the outdoor porch with lovely red rocking chairs. The kitchen was very nice with lovely appliances and wonderful Greenbriar china. The owner was very gracious and arranged for us to have full use of the hotel. We used the hotel transportation to go to dinners and other appointments at the hotel. Our children felt very comfortable going to the beautiful pool, the bowling alley and the theatre on their own. If you are going on a busy weekend, you might want to make reservations for dinner a month earlier than your arrival date. We enjoyed the Livery and French Goat in Lewisberg as well as the hotel restaurants. The Greenbriar is a lovely place for a vacation and we loved it. Go if you can. You won’t be sorry!!”
Relaxing vacation with luxurious accommodations!
We had an amazing trip. The cottage is lovely with big covered porches on the front and back and mountain views. Spacious comfortable rooms. Great responsive host who helped with many details including golf. The Greenbrier is a wonderful resort with plenty to do for everyone! We can't wait to come back for another visit.”
Great Owners, Great House, Great Setting!
This is a beautiful property on the grounds of "America's Resort". We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Charles and Stacey who were very gracious and the communication prior to our stay was outstanding. The house's unique layout was perfect for our extended family of 8 with plenty of private space for everyone as well as a large family gathering area. Many hours were spent on the huge back porch with a panoramic view of the mountains and sunset. The service and amenities at The Greenbrier Resort can't be beat and we were fortunate enough to be there for the opening day of the outdoor infinity pool. We hope to return to this house sometime soon. ”
