Located less than two miles from the Gore Mountain Ski Area and The Hudson River, this five bedroom Adirondack home offers everything that you will need for an exciting adventure with family and friends, no matter the season!

The main level of the 4,800 square foot home offers the Master Bedroom and bath; a brand new, fully equipped kitchen and eating area; a comfortable living room with a gorgeous wood burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV.

A beautiful three season glass/screen enclosed porch offers expansive mountain views and has a wood burning fireplace for those chillier nights. A large, outdoor grill is located just off the porch.

There is a sitting room to enjoy a quiet book or accommodate an extra guest on a pull-out couch. Also on the main level is a mudroom to contain all of your shoes and jackets along with a full-size washer and dryer.

The second floor offers two Queen sized bedrooms and a unique bedroom featuring a queen bed and full-size bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. Two full baths are on this floor, as well as an enormous bunk room that is sure to please the younger crowd in your group. Equipped with a large screen TV, Wii, and board games, it will be their ultimate space to hang out. Each bedroom offers a ceiling fan, satellite TV, and DVD player.

The lower level of the home is where the excitement will be after your outdoor adventures! This area features a wood burning stove, large screen TV, comfortable seating, a bar area perfect for Apres Ski, pool table, poker table, shuffleboard table, dart board and the last full bathroom.

The property offers over twenty acres of outdoor wilderness to explore when you step out your back door. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and a large hot tub is ideal to unwind after your day’s adventures. Enjoy the beautiful front porch on those early mornings before your adventures or while winding down. Take a short walk out the front door and explore Austin Pond on Kayak (four provided) in warmer months or ice skate in the winter!

Finally, a heated two car garage will keep your vehicles snow-free in winter.

Winter brings downhill and cross-country skiing at Gore Mountain, New York’s largest mountain featuring four peaks. Each peak offers a unique skiing experience, with 14 lifts and 100 trails! If you’re not a skier, try snowshoeing or feel the brisk Adirondack air while snowmobiling!

The Spring, Summer, and Fall also offer many adventures in the Adirondacks. Hike the expansive choices of trails in the area, take a white water rafting trip on the Hudson River, downhill bike and hike at Gore Mountain, rent a boat for the day at local recreational lakes including Loon Lake and Lake George, go horseback riding or watch the horses race at Saratoga Racetrack, bike an old railway along the banks of the Hudson River, hunt, enjoy the fall foliage … the activities are endless!

If you're looking for a day trip, head to Lake Placid which boasts the Lake Placid Olympic Museum and Mirror Lake. Take a trip to Lake George and visit the shops or visit Fort William Henry Museum. Visit the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival featuring an ice palace and parade.
