Great Property

The condo is very nice and they did a great job with the renovation. We had a few issues with the unit, but nothing major. The microwave that was attached to the oven did not work and it took 3 days for someone to come look at it. They couldn't fix it and brought us one for the counter that afternoon which ended up being a good fix. The shower in the Master Bedroom was leaking to the unit below us and the repair guys were in and out of our unit for several days(one day they came in at 8:30am to work on it while we were trying to sleep-in. The owner is extremely responsive, but the management company isn't. I would advise contacting the owner if you have any issues along with management company. A lot of times they will just send someone and not respond to your email, which is little frustrating because you don't know to put away your valuables or be decent when someone is coming over to work on the unit. Overall, the unit was great and I think we just hit a week where there were a few issues that took a little time to get resolved.”

Fantastic View, best penthouse in the complex

This unit has the best view with glass exposure to the south and east. The top floor penthouses have higher ceilings than all other units. The view is amazing with the sunrise each morning. We have never stayed this far out of Gulf Shores, it is 11 miles to the resort but I really liked the location and quieter beach. The on site restaurants were not open yet but had a great meal just down the road at Sassy Bass. We payed $200 to gain access to the clubhouse and fitness facility for 5 days. Each building has its own pool and the clubhouse has its own separate pool included with the paid access. Umbrellas and chairs available for rent on beach daily. Unit is well equipped, spacious, comfortable, with a great kitchen and high end finishes and Thermador appliances. Would love to come back again.”

First, Rusty was very responsive to our correspondence and questions. The Beach Club is located far enough away from the busy main Gulf Shore beaches, but close enough to go to the store or restaurants in town. The penthouse is located on the 21st floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, and because it is an end unit, the balconies are very private. The condo is lovely with a kitchen that has everything that we needed for cooking meals. The master bedroom is beautiful and private as it is separated from the other bedrooms. We hope to return for another week. ”

A Fabulous Penthouse

Our trip to the Beach Club Avalon Penthouse was outstanding. The six of us would awake early, make coffee and sit on the balcony to watch the sun rise. Such a beautiful sight and it would start our day perfectly. The house was well equipped to make us very comfortable. A lot of thought and care have gone into the upkeep and maintenance of the entire resort complex. It is so beautiful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed the beach and also trips to explore the region around us. Many great restaurants were within a short distance of the penthouse, which was wonderful. We recommend the Beach Club Avalon Penthouse as a perfect vacation site.”

The view from the penthouse floor on a clear night with full moon is unbeliveable. BP crews had the beach in front torn up for most of the time and it was very windy every day. Trust BP is about through. The beach club was closed for renovation, so food and drinks were mostly off-site. Re-opens in May. All the employees and visitors were very friendly, as were all of the locals. The unit itself is well decorated and laid out both for companionship and privacy. All your needs have been addressed and everything is available. The one dark spot is the furniture and rugs in the living/den area and rug in the master bedroom show extreme use and should probably be restored/replaced. Also the lighting system requires some learning, but that mostly comes with time. We had a quiet and restful stay. Thank you. ”
