Silver Aspens Luxury Residence
Silver Aspen Luxury Residence "Solpow"
Welcome to Solitude, once designated by the L.A. Times as "a ski resort suitable for our readers in the Federal witness protection program". Although Solitude's profile was raised with Deer Valley's purchase of the resort in 2015, it still remains well below the radar as the owners of Solpow prefer. In 2017 the partners sold Deer Valley but retained Solitude for themselves. When you visit you will see why.
With a slopeside setting and stunning mountain views, this striking five-bedroom townhome rests on 4000+ square feet in the picturesque Solitude Village. Just a two minute walk from the lift, this property is ideal for an exciting getaway ski vacation! If you haven't skied Solitude before, it's a must do. Solitude is aptly named as it's far less crowded, with plenty of powder and great terrain. It's a perfect resort for powderhounds! The location is extremely convenient as well with its proximity to Salt Lake City, Snowbird, Alta, and Park City. It's a destination that would easily allow you to ski multiple resorts in the same stay if you so choose. (But why would you want to leave??)
This sensational townhome is decorated in a splendid, rustic style, highly inspired by the natural marvels found surrounding the property. Light, wooden finishes add a natural air to the already expansive layout, boasting high, vaulted ceilings that bring the magnificent beauty of the outdoors in. As the sunlight streams in through enormous front windows, enjoy the comfortable seating in the living room, all nestled around an impressive stone fireplace that will keep you warm on a cold winter’s night.
From the living room, the large floor plan spreads into the charming, open concept kitchen. With the help of high-end appliances, you’ll become a master of the culinary arts in no time! The rustic feel of the property continues into the kitchen, where you’ll find ample, polished wooden cabinetry, and a lovely wooden breakfast bar that’s perfect for a morning cup of coffee. When dinner is served, enjoy your masterpiece in the elegant dining room, offering plenty of seating for everyone.
Featuring five bedrooms, this amazing townhome is perfect for your next group ski vacation, offering space enough for 12 guests. Four of the bedrooms provide lavish king-sized beds while the fifth and final bedroom has two full-sized beds. Two of the king rooms are master suites, each providing guests with a private gas fireplace for added coziness throughout the night. Each of the three full bathrooms is pristine and polished, with ample space to primp and relax to your heart’s content.
The divine slopeside area of Solitude Village provides you and your guests with superb Deer Valley-style amenities and one of the top ski locations in the area. After a thrilling day on the slopes, take advantage of the private recreation center, featuring an outdoor heated pool, two relaxing Jacuzzi hot tubs, as well as a sauna and exercise room. The kids will love spending time in the video arcade or engage in some friendly competition with a game of pool.
Nestled in the quaint, European style village it’s never been easier for you to spend all day out on the slopes before heading back to your luxury townhome to rest up before the rest of the day. Hikers will love the spectacular scenery all around, both within the Solitude trail network and around the likes of Big Cottonwood Canyon and Doughnut Falls. Summertime offers mountain biking and some of the best flyfishing in North America on the Provo River just a short drive away. During the summer, Guardsman Pass also gets you to Park City within 20 minutes via a gorgeous mountain pass through Deer Valley's ski liftlines. After the hustle and bustle of Park City you will appreciate the "solitude" upon your return.
Solitude has always been about the skiing and relaxation away from crowds, and not about nightlife. After a day filled with adventure, head to one of several restaurants or bars in the village as you enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery around you, and get to bed early to hit the slopes fresh and rested!

Peaceful Ski Vacation!
This was one of our best skiing trips ever. Martha was a wonderful host giving us just the right amount of welcome communications to make us feel special. We had a package shipped in advance and it was awaiting our arrival. This home was beautifully furnished and the beds were dreamy. No one had any trouble sleeping in. We appreciated the stocked pantry as we forgot to purchase a few items from the store! The accommodations had everything we needed and more! The home was steps away from the bus stop or the ski slopes. We loved that there was a ski rental facility within walking distance. The slopes were beautiful and groomed each morning. We never had to wait in line for a lift and the kids progressed so much in ski school. It was a very peaceful vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your home!”
