This was our second time visiting Artists Retreat. And it was better than the first. Terry done a great job with the pool area and the home is just an ideal location for being in a peaceful and relaxed part of Byron, only 5 minutes drive from town. Look forward to a return again soon ! ”

Delightful Home

Turned into one of our best family holidays ever ! On first arriving we were wondering where we were driving to, but the home turned out to be ideal for our needs. Plenty of space, quiet, so close to Byron (avoiding the busy traffic), yet so far ! (It is only a 5 minute drive into heart of town, but you are out in the bush) - Sound of the birds in the morning just magic. Comfortable, clean and the pool was ideal for the kids. We explored many of the great cafe's, restaurants and shops in Byron - Lighthouse is worth a visit as is the Crystal Castle (kids loved that). We took a day trip to Currumbin as well to the high ropes / wildlife sanctuary - a great family day out as well. Beaches are fantastic - not overly crowded when we were there. And ensure to go to the Town in Bangalow for dinner - a degustation feast of some of the finest dining we've experienced anywhere in the world. It was 5 star. Gorgeous hinterland reatreat just minutes from beach

We had a delightful week at Byron Bay. This property has great facilities for multi-families to stay. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. The owner's, Terry and Christine, were extremely hospitable, generous and responsive. Thanks for a great week!”

Quiet and relaxing home

Thank you to Terry and his son Shaun. The home is in a lovely quiet area surrounded by rainforest with the sound of birds. Very comfortable home, all queen beds a great idea. Private area downstairs to share with friends or teenage area. Worked well for us with our grown sons for a family get together. Few minutes drive to Byron Bay township and beaches. Lovely private plunge pool. Great kitchen, living and large dining table looking toward distant hills. Perfect home to share with friends or family. We would certainly like to stay at this property again. Good shopping and choice of many restaurants and hotels in Byron. Recommend hiring a car to get into town and drive around local countryside.”
