April 2023Great Time
We loved our stay at the Diamante Lagoon Tower. I was a little concerned at first as it seemed we were walking into a hotel, but when we got to our room I was pleasantly surprised. The accomodations are first class. The 4 bedroom suite was well appointed and spacious. The staff were all fantastic; professional and very friendly. The lagoon is just a short walk away and there was plenty to do there including kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. There is a beach/sand area along the lagoon if you want that sort of vibe or you can just enjoy time near the hot tub without the sand mess. There is a very nice putting green available during daylight hours. There were not many young people present while we were there but I'm not sure what it would be like during the summer when school is out in the US. There aren't many restaurants on site and the pricing was a bit steep for food and drinks. For example, a mojito was almost $30 US dollars! It is easy to get transportation into town to go to restaurants or to the grocery store. We hired a private chef from PrivateChefLosCabos.com to cook dinner for us at night and they were very reasonable (came out to approx $40-50/per person) and the food was amazing. Even better, they cleaned up after they were done cooking! If you like to golf, there are two great courses available but plan to spend $300 in greens fee for each course. There are several great courses in Cabo but these will also run in the $200-300 range for the green fee. We love Cabo so we will definitely be going back.”
