A Quiet Mountain Retreat Near Greenville and Asheville

Enjoy a visit to a secluded mountain cabin surrounded by 13,000 acres of protected State Park wilderness. A private mile and a half drive will lead guests to this 1,300 square foot, two bedroom mountain oasis.

On the main level of the home, 12x10 foot glass garage doors are used as amazing windows and can be raised to let the breeze through the screens. This is the perfect touch to modernize the all-wood great room. With 17-foot ceilings and views across the South Carolina and North Carolina mountains, this works as the perfect gathering spot for guests.

Multiple sitting areas and dining areas can be found in the great room. There is also a picnic table on the balcony for when guests want to enjoy meals outside.

The lower level of the home has central air conditioning and heating, while the top floor has a halogen heat lamp above the dining table along with a wood burning stove in the sitting area.

The rustic home has two bedrooms, one featuring a Queen size bed and one with two Twin beds.

The property connects to more than 40 miles of hiking trails in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness area. After your day of exploring, retreat back to the private oasis and enjoy the outdoor showers and hot tub with unmatched views!

Tree Top Fun!

We so enjoyed our visit to this wonderful home. Perched at the top of the ridge in the South Carolina mountains, the architecture beguiles and enchants. Open the garage doors on both sides and you feel like you are sitting on top of the trees, with beautiful views across the valley, and gentle breezes to enchant. We happened to be there in the beautiful fall colors, a special time to be sure. Our host provided so much great information about the local areas, hikes, restaurants, points of interest. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at night, and gathering around the wood stove to take the chill off mornings and evenings. So much charm, so much warmth. The love that went into building this place oozed out of its walls and embraced us at every turn. Within an easy drive of Clemson, we managed to catch an exciting football game while we visited a family member in the student body. We made many of the suggested local stops, and were not disappointed at single one. Beautiful scenery, tasty food, inviting communities, warm hospitality. This beautiful home was everything advertised and more. Such a wonderful experience.”

Fun & Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at the Bryant’s cabin. Steven was very helpful and tended to all our needs in a timely manner. Our favorite feature of the cabin was the garage doors. They provided a breathtaking mountain view and allowed for a perfect Fall breeze to circulate throughout the house. A close second favorite was the hot tub, especially after a full day of hiking. We enjoyed the seclusion, but also appreciated that the cabin was located in a great spot - convenient to towns, hikes, and fishing holes. ”
