Stunning Mountain House
The pictures and description of this house don’t do justice to what it really is. As we walked into the house our kids said: “This is a French Chateau in the USA!” You first drive 25 minutes from the security guard to the house at the Blue Ridge Mountain Club while overlooking the most espectacular views. Once in the house, you have almost 9,000 sq ft of an impecable, modern mountain house. It has been professional decorated, so it feels sophisticated and warm at the same time. The master suite and master bathroom suite are spacious, luxurious and comfortable. There another five beautiful bedrooms and several game and play rooms for the children. Linens are of superb quality. Everything is five stars at this house. There are also several bars for the adults. The outdoor grill overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains was perfect for our family dinners. There is a movie theater inside the house that we truly enjoyed. We were three families of four and we had plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and common areas to play and relax. I have saved my last comment of the best part of this house for last. The owner of the house is the kindest and most gracious host I have ever met. She would go our of her way daily to accommodate our requests. She went to the house herself prior to our arrival to make sure everything was perfect for us - and it was! The owners have several ATVs in the house that they allowed for us to use. The club have the most fun trails for ATVs that are several miles long. I found myself riding the ATVs daily. It was like a roller coaster in the mountains. Lots of fun. I would highly recommend this mountain house and would love to back soon.”
Stunning Mountain Home
We stayed at this home in late August 2019. As soon as we walked in the door we were stunned at the beauty of the home. It is impressive from the outside, but just stunning on the inside. All of the furnishings and fixtures are first class. The home is in a gated subdivision and the subdivision has features you usually don't find There is a skeet range and a rifle range which we made use of. The home also has a Polaris and 3 other ATV's in the garage. They were a lot of fun. The host Laura could not have been better. Just before we were ready to leave Hurricane Dorian was heading toward Florida and initially the path was projected to cross the state and pass over Tampa, our home town. I received a text from Laura stating the storm looked really scary and we should stay a couple of extra days until the Hurricane passed. Her concern for our welfare and kindness is something I will never forget. She is a fantastic. Usually when we go to a third home we do a lot of sightseeing but the home and subdivision was so nice that we only left for groceries If you get a chance to stay at this home, don't miss it. THANK YOU LAURA Dennis Dixon”
I wish they had a 6 or 7 star rating for this home and Third Home member! I have used many, many Third Homes over the years but have NEVER had a better experience that the one I had with this home and owner. Laura was incredible! Very responsive and helpful before we arrived and during our stay.. When TH members use my Costa Rica home I think I am good but Laura outdid me! She did so many things to make our visit special it would be impossible to list the all. Visit this home and you will be quite impressed! The home is magnificent and appointed with every feature you would need to make your mountain visit special. The Polaris vehicles are a blast! The community where the home is located is gated and offers all sorts of activities. Skeet shooting was my favorite! In short, if you are looking for a mountain retreat I strongly suggest Waving Bear Vista and their owners! Kim Scott Davis www.CostaRicaOceanFrontHome.com”
