September 2018Great boutique hotel, fantastic location
Domaine La Pierre Blanche is a little different from the typical Third Home (consisting of rooms rather than houses) but we had a greatly enjoyable stay. Floris and Ana are extremely attentive, the pool area is a great place to relax, and we enjoyed breakfasts on the deck. The layout gives a feeling of being directly connected with nature - the vegetation / terrain is not unlike Australia - and we almost expected to see kangaroos hopping around at dusk. The room is modern and good for a couple, but are suitable for 3-5 days rather than a week. The surrounding area has many well-known towns worth visiting, and Eygalieres (5mins drive away) has plenty of dining options. We strongly recommend the bike ride Alpilles (around 60km around St Remy / Baux / Maussane) on electric bikes, and the light show in the old quarry at Baux - this is something quite spectacular.”
