Ventanas al Mar is a beautiful home designed by renowned French architect Savin Couëlle. Ventanas al Mar means "windows to the sea" because of the expansive ocean views through the archways and windows of the home. The home is located on the seaside eighth hole of the Teeth of the Dog golf course. Built in 1983, this home has been featured in Architectural Digest and the coffee table book, Living on the Water, amongst others.

Couëlle is known for creating very sculptural, organic spaces which blend the inside with the outside. With ocean views from every room, one feels completely in harmony with the surroundings. The home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a separate wing for the staff. We can host a maximum of 8 guests in our home. The dual master king suites are at either end of the home. One master features its own pool just outside the door. The other features his and her bathrooms as well as a private outdoor lounge area with views to the sea. Another suite features a queen bed, a suspended "flying bed" (twin), as well as a twin bed with trundle. The fourth suite features a king bed that is convertible to two twin beds, offering maximum flexibility for your group. Every bedroom has an en suite bathroom.

Aside from the beauty of the home, the staff is one of the home's biggest assets. The cook, two housekeepers and gardener have all been with the owners for over thirty years. They are a welcoming group and help make each stay comfortable and luxurious. The owners ask that you please tip the staff generously for their help with the cleaning, cooking, and landscaping.

Our cook has a wide repertoire of dishes and will cook for your entire stay. There is no additional cost for this service; however, you will need to pay for the groceries.

Casa de Campo is a very complete resort, offering four Pete Dye golf courses, tennis courts, beaches, horseback riding,
skeet shooting, marina with many fabulous restaurants and shops, full service spa, and all of the amenities a luxury resort can offer. The owners have a membership to the private La Romana golf course and can extend guest privileges and access to your group.
