January 2023Grand Luxxe Two Bedroom Suite in Tower 3 on Golf Course Side
Overall, we had a wonderful week at Vidanta. There were some problems along the way. This is our second time here, and even though we told the staff we were with Third Home, we were still pressured to attend a presentation. We felt we were being held hostage by the Sales personnel. The same thing happened the first time we stayed at Vidanta. The next time we come, we will go directly from the shuttle drop-off area to the resort shuttle pick-up area and to the tower where the Shuttle Stand attendant tells you that your bags are being delivered to thus bypassing the Vidanta Sales personnel. All your registration can be down at the concierge desk in the tower you are going to. You do not have to register at the Conference Center as the Sales personnel would like you to believe. Our first suite looked directly onto the jungle foilage on the 2nd floor which was not satisfactory. We were able to get a room the next day on the 6th floor that had a view but at night the lights from the golf course were blinding. We wasted several hours moving plus we were without a room for 8 hours and did not have access to our luggage. Other than that, we enjoyed the resort and all its ammenities. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The pools are all wonderful with great seating, towels and pool side service with two happy hours a day, one from 11-1 and one from 5-6. There are numerous things to do through out the day from Spanish lessons to Latin dancing as well as the Lazy River ride and the wave pool. There are no shortage of places to eat with numerous restaurants and snack places along with pool and room service. We used the grocery store daily to purchase fresh vegetables, meat, water, and bakery items. There are wonderful candies, chocolates, and French pasteries made on-site. There is a liquor store with beer, spirits and wine although the wine is super expensive, with the lowest price wine costing $35 for $10 wine. Most of the wine is priced starting at $70 and going up to $7000. Our suite was great. HIgh end wall coverings and furnishings and large washrooms. The kitchen could be better equipped as we like to cook regional dishes wherever we travel. There are only a two burner stove top, no oven, basic pots, pans, one dull chef knife, and only enough cutlery for 4 settings. The glassware consisted of juice glass sized glasses and tiny 5oz wine glasses. We were not able to get larger glassware in Tower 3 unlike Tower 5 or the Residence Tower where there is a large selection of glassware of various sizes including things like brandy glasses. ”

December 2022Feet up fabulous!
Just what was needed after a crazy year! Lots of time to do nothing in great surroundings and let the children enjoy the kids club activities. Super accommodation and charming helpful staff. Everywhere super clean and well maintained. Altogether an excellent week. Thank you!”

December 2022Another great stay at Grand Luxxe
I just spent a week with my family at the Grand Luxxe Puerto Vallarta. The whole experience was first rate. The rooms are large and very well appointed, service is spotless and the property is gorgeous. Enough things to do and places to eat to keep you busy, but tranquil enough for a relaxing holiday if that is what you prefer. If we didn't already owned a vacation property elsewhere I would definitely consider becoming an owner at Grand Luxxe. ”
