Grand Luxxe Master Suite at Vidanta Riviera Maya - Jungala was closed.

Overall the stay was great. Room was great, facilities were great, food, etc. No issues at all. Except one of the main attractions for the resort was the Jungala water park, which we only found out closed 4 days before we got there for 4 months because I was monitoring a Facebook page for Vidanta RM. ”

Accommodations were excellent. The service was top notch. The resort is very large and walkable. Moreover, the tram system is efficient and fast. We never waited long. The restaurants as well as room service were delicious. Be aware this resort is not all inclusive. All food and drinks are ala carte. All in all if you want to feel like you are immersed in the Yucatan jungle with several pools and beaches to choose from this is the place for you.”

Amazing Resort

My family really enjoyed our vacation at the Vidanta Riviera Maya. The staff is very friendly and the level of service was great. The food quality at the many restaurants was surprisingly good and the condos and grounds of the resort are really stunning. I love the fact that Vidanta offers so many activities and onsite entertainment such as the Joya Cirque du Solei show (which was spectacular) as well as the water park for our kids and family to enjoy. The only negative I would say is that it is such a large resort and you need to take their shuttle carts to the different areas which sometimes you need to wait a bit for, but overall, the place is really amazing and Vidanta runs their resort very well. Also, the location is very good as it is only 30 minutes from the Cancun airport and only about 30 to Playa Del Carmen downtown. So easy access but for the most part you don't need to leave the resort to be entertained which was great for our family with all the kids.”

Vidanta was amazing!

Vidanta was amazing!!! Our group had such a good time. The staff were all incredibly nice. If we ever needed anything they were quick to help. We had a very large group and I was always impressed with how quickly we got transportation for all of us. It was also easy to coordinate. Also how well each restaurant handled our group given the size. The food was delicious, especially the beach club. That was our favorite. The resort itself is stunning. Everywhere was clean and I never saw trash. Loved all the pathways and animals. We had a great experience!!”

Be careful going to Vidanta Cancun

The trolleys were unbearable, slow, long, and late. Delivery service from the Jade market took 3 hours, we were told to wait in our room for it. C trolley was late, eliminating our availability to catch the shuttle to Playa Del Carmen, resulting in us paying for taxis. The sales office is relentless, DO NOT get involved with them. They lie, they put up "smoke and mirrors" anything to get you to sign for a timeshare. Beaches were a mess. Guests we expected to stand in line for an hour to get a seat at the pool! Dinner reservations had to be made 24 hours in advance, for their so called discounts. Coupons they promise are useless. They require way too much control over you, for you to enjoy what they offer.”

Beautiful property and beautiful resort!!! Would definitely go back again and again... The food is exceptionally good. The only 2 problems we had: 1) the property is huge....you either walk for miles and miles or you got to wait for the little golf cart to come pick you up...but they are not that frequent. 2) the resort is 40 minutes south of Cancun so every time you have to go to Cancun, it is a very expensive taxi ride.”

Memorable family Mexico vacation to Vidanta!

Luxury resort and perfect for the family! The condo was very large and outfitted with every amenity possible. The resort offered endless entertainment of pools, jungle paths, Cirque du Soleil, water park and endless restaurant choices. The resort was private, secure and immaculately clean.”

Great room and property.

The room at the Grand Luxxe was beautiful and well laid out. The property has lots to offer. I highly recommend the Cirque du Soliel show, it was one of the best we've seen. One warning I have to give is that if you go through the sales presentation you should prepare to spend a solid 4 hours with them even though we were told it would only be 1 hour. The process left a really bad taste in our mouth but overall the resort was really nice.”

We loved Grand Luxxe. We were upgraded without even asking. The service was incredible. The food was great.. the only mistake we made was going to listen to the time share presentation. That was my fault. I wanted to see what they were selling the units for. Well that turned into a four hour ordeal. Other than that this place was amazing. ”
