We were blessed with beautiful weather to explore Lake Tahoe from one end to the other. The home is very nice and comfortable. Loved our time on the deck overlooking the water. Good communications from the owner. My only recommendation is that if you are planning on cooking for dinners, you might need to bring a few kitchen items of your own. We would be happy to stay here again. Thank you!”

Woderful Time The House is Charming!

We really enjoyed our time there, the house is charming with tons of unique character! We loved being on the water, we brought a small fishing boat and docked it right in front of the house! The hose was clead with very comfotable beds. The host was very responsive. We may book it again in the future! ”

Away from the mass of humanity, close to the bike paths and bike rental places and restaurants and food stores, Fallen Leaf Lake and the entire undeveloped shore north of So Lake. Beautiful and unique master bedroom, photo of sunset is from the open kitchen, dining room and living room area. And we brought our kayaks. After we arrived we became thankful that there was availability, because it was so perfect. ”

Fantastic stay in South Lake Tahoe!

Absolutely loved our stay at this property and the owner could not have been more accommodating. We lucked out with a ton of snow which made snow boarding amazing. Very comfortable home with fantastic master bedroom and great entertaining family room area to relax and kick back. The views off the top deck were gorgeous with all the snow, especially with this home located on one of the canals that leads out to the lake. Very convenient location that is striking distance to grocery store and very easy drive to casinos, restaurants etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

Incredible Area!

Our home was an excellent basecamp for exploring South Lake Tahoe. We visited during the slow season when everyone had their boats off the lake and the mountains were still bare of snow. We appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was and how easy it was to find parking for hikes and kayaking without wakes. The view out the back of the house repeatedly caught our eye, the water channel in the foreground and the mountains illuminated by the morning sun in the background. These are the things we liked most about the house: well-equipt kitchen, good layout for couple or group, fireplace, big round table with lazy Susan, and clean dock for launching our kayaks. We were particularly grateful for the access key to the community amenities, it was great to use the beach because many other beaches were closed for the season. These are the things that could be improved: deferred maintenance to furniture, low uneven heat to the downstairs. Overall the home had a nice feel to it and made a great base to explore the beautiful area. ”

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. This home is not a Cabin feel it’s an eclectic decore with a colorful tribute to music. The gorgeous views through the large windows were breathtaking. (The picture of the lake view is the direct view from the home.) ”

Great owner, good location

If you're looking for a centally located South Lake Tahoe house, this is very nice. The owner was very accommodating and the house was well-stocked with everything you need. The decor is eclectic (which is not to everyone's taste) and the biggest drawback was the lack of furnishings. The living room has one backless couch and two arm chairs and the deck only a small cafe table and two chairs, all of which made it difficult to comfortably hang out as a group.”
