Outstanding Multi-generational Family Vacation at the Mazant

Our stay at The Mazant was the highlight of our recent trip to New Orleans. The property is the perfect blend of old-world charm with modern comforts. Elegant furnishings, a well-stocked kitchen, coffee bar, and laundry room, the hosts supplied us with everything needed to make it our "home away from home" for our weeklong stay. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive with fountains, a pool and spa, and several separate seating vignettes for groups small and large. Stocked with board games and yard games, this home has it all for a fun filled family vacation. The Mazant is an outstanding choice. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. ”

Incredible Property with Lovely Attention to Detail

The Mazant is an oasis in The Big Easy with gorgeous attention to detail. The property is magnificent with high ceilings and stunning decor. The gorgeous grounds and well manicured yard offers a respite from the city center. We almost made the mistake of leaving The Mazant every day to tour the city, parks, venues and restaurants downtown, instead of staying and relishing the delightful pool and jacuzzi. Definitely plan for more time to enjoy the property.”

We spent around an hour wandering around with jaws dropped, upon arrival. Very well maintained, super-clean mansion with tons of history. 5-10 minute drive from this Bywater area property to downtown. Excellent hosts.”

Pure Magic

My wife and I (and our two pups) spent 4 nights at the Mazant during the week of October 19, 2025. Even though the online photos of the mansion are beautiful, they still hardly convey the magic, grandeur, style, and perfection of the home. The Mazant has to be experienced first-hand to be believed. Every aspect of the property has been thoughtfully curated and geared to user experience, from the multiple thermostats, whole home sound/music, comfy couches, stocked kitchen, multiple outdoor areas, gorgeous pool, etc... I could go on and on, but you get the gist. Jeff (owner) and Kevin (manager) were wonderfully communicative and accommodating and the place was spotless upon our arrival (kudos to the cleaning staff). Last but not least, the Bywater neighborhood (which we were unfamiliar with prior to our stay) utterly charmed our pants off. We patronized numerous restaurants and bars (and dog parks) within walking distance and felt like locals on day one. ”

The property itself is amazing. Close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The host has the home perfectly set up, immaculately cleaned, and maintained. The pool was private and peaceful, and we enjoyed a BBQ in the large garden. Highly recommended. ”
