Lovely home, beautifully furnished with great views of the marsh. Due to the virus we spent most of our time between the house and the beach and all our needs were provided. The combination of golf cart, bikes and walking trails gave us a variety of options to get to the wide white sand beach. We went on two guided fishing trips and fishing and crabbing off the dock provided hours of fun. DeBordieu is private and we felt very safe. Residents and guests were friendly yet wore masks and respected social distancing. The golf ,tennis and beach facilities were not available due the virus but we totally enjoyed our stay and hope to come back post virus. Booth family July 2020”

Wow! This property is really nice. The house sits on the marsh with long range views and has its own dock to access the tidal creeks and marsh and can access the Atlantic Ocean from the North Inlet! Being an avid fisherman I was in hog heaven. We would use the Native Pedal kayaks provided and we spent many hours in the creeks catching all the drum and flounder we wanted! We also hired a local guide and fished near Winyah Bay for the elusive tarpon that show up this time of year in the area. We had two hook ups with big tarpon and failed to land either fish! The 6 seater golf cart would wish us the the Beach Club, pool and Tiki Bar perched Oceanside for evening cocktails! This place is a wildlife preserve teaming with all types wildlife and it’s fun just to ride around and see it all. Carol was extremely helpful and accommodating with good tips on everything from food to fishing! The house was super clean and organized. We enjoyed looking out over the marsh with the spotting scope provided in the main room! The outside shower was also a real treat! Thanks again Carol was an incredible week! ”
