Valle de Bravo, Mexico
The Gem of Valle de Bravo
The Gem of Valle de Bravo
Located on the edge of town, this lavish Spanish villa is delicately placed overlooking the amazing views of Valle de Bravo Lake. Spanning 6000 square feet with four bedrooms, this estate is one of eight homes in a secure gated community with respectable neighbors (which share a pool and paddle tennis court). The town’s main plaza, markets, churches, shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the lake’s main pier are a short walking distance. If you are in need of a car, the taxi service in Valle is very safe and reliable. A complete list of activities, their approximate costs, and contact info is available in the house.
All of the décors in the house makes you feel like you are living like a local. From the muted earth tones to the bright openness, you will not be disappointed with the design of this villa. On the top floor, there is a spacious living room with a great fireplace and a dining table that doubles as a gaming table. You will be impressed with the music system that has speakers all throughout the house which also comes with a wide variety of CDs. Turn on some tunes and walk outside of the living room onto the beautiful terrace. On the terrace, you will find an outdoor grill accompanied by a dining table to help create the perfect atmosphere for a great meal.
The next floor down has three master bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen), each with great bathrooms and reading lounges, and another terrace with a plunge pool. On the third floor down, you will find a bedroom with a king bed and one twin bed, its own bathroom, and a private terrace. On the same floor, there’s a TV/Entertainment room with satellite TV and a nice library of DVDs.
Valle de Bravo is a really nice colonial style town next to a beautiful lake with the most variety of activities a vacation town can offer. Water ski, parapenting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, go-karting, motor sports, running, racquet sports, bird watching, shopping and art galleries are only a few of the many activities around town.
Get ready to be pampered! There are two maids daily and they have worked in the house for the past 15 years, so they know their way around everything. They sleep in the maid’s quarters, so they are available and at your service at any time from breakfast to dinner. They will clean the house, turn down beds and try to fulfill any special requests. The cook knows a variety of dishes, but a menu is provided in which you can choose the next day’s meal’s and the cook will either shop for the ingredients needed or accompany you to the very entertaining town market. Also, don’t forget to ask for their great Micheladas and Margaritas!
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a weekly mandatory charge of $140 for the staff (2 maids and cook)

Wonderful house with a great staff, and the owner was very helpful with all of our needs. The location was perfect, great view but only 2 block form the center of town! Loved Valle De Brava. incredible setting on the lake surrounded by mountains, Loved the town, great gourmet restaurants, but still very colonial with cobblestone streets. The Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary was a real treat! Definitely recommend for people going to Mexico City, which was fabulous! Sharon and John Hoffman ”
