Welcome to Pettolecchia La Residenza, your home in the heart of Puglia, perfectly set on the sun-kissed south east coast of Italy. This luxury villa is located just minutes from the many fabulous beaches of the Adriatic Sea, including its own private beach club. The private villa is set in a historic masseria (traditional farmhouse) built in the early 19th century by the Noble Palmieri, and restored with great care and precision. It is now an elegant and intimate home within eight hectares of private land, full of majestic olive groves and almond trees as well as an organic vegetable garden.

When you walk through the doors, you will immediately notice how open and spacious this home is. White walls and beige tiled floors run through the ground floor, with paintings, sculptures and Italian artifacts from the owner’s private art collection, meticulously placed throughout the space. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling in many of the rooms.

The living spaces on the ground floor feature three separate sections. On one side, you'll find plush wraparound couch with a large screen TV, and a reading room separated by oriental glass panels. On the other end is the dining space, set for 8 guests that can easily expand to accommodate a 20-place intimate dinner setting. In between, you have an open-sided Casino room which gives some immense entertainment for friends and family.

Just off the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances so any budding chef can cook up a feast. If you would like to hire a Michelin-starred or gourmet chef for a night or duration of your stay, the Host will gladly make arrangements for an additional cost. In-home cooking classes are also popular in the area, and a perfect way to get the whole family involved in the region’s amazing cuisine. The week-long experience at the villa includes full staff at your disposal with daily housekeeping services, a butler, dedicated concierge, night guard and tailored chef services on request.

There are 5 suites on this property that all come with a private entrance, accommodating a total of 10 guests. All of the bedrooms are completed to a luxury finish; Italian paintings adorn the walls and all rooms have wonderful views of either the pool, garden or Italian countryside. Three of the suites are on the ground floor, facing the garden and pool area, while offering privacy and comfort. Two of the suites re located on the first floor and this comes with a private patio, sun loungers and magnificent sea views.

Outside is where you will be spending most of you days and evenings, and at La Residenza it is an extra special place. A large L-shaped outdoor swimming pool (heated) is fully equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs and umbrellas. Spend your days basking in the Mediterranean sunshine while sipping an ice-cold drink, fresh rosé wine, or read a book. Nearby is the outdoor Technogym-powered fitness area that is also shaded and equipped with mats, weights and mattresses. There are also complimentary bicycles for guests to explore the nearby shore and town of Savelletri. For day trips, guests of the villa enjoy exclusive use of the house vehicle, a hybrid 4X4 Lexus to explore the towns and treasures of the region. Dining alfresco is a must and there are several areas at La Residenza that invite you to do so.

There are plenty of activities to do in Puglia and being so close to the beach is an added advantage. Your Host is happy to organize a bike tour, Vespa tour, horseback riding, scuba diving, sailing, trekking and windsurfing activities for your family and friends. They can also organize spa treatments in the privacy of the villa or Yoga and Pilates with expert masters in the beautiful olive groves.
