Description

Luxe Architectural Retreat

Nestled within a private natural reservoir in the highlands of Guatemala, Luxe Architectural Retreat is a masterfully designed, custom-built residence where contemporary architecture meets one of the most breathtaking natural settings on earth. Framed by three towering volcanoes — one actively alive — this is not simply a home. It is an experience.

Step inside to soaring ceilings and a luminous great room where floor-to-ceiling windows dissolve the boundary between interior and landscape. Hardwood floors, slate-clad walls, and curated furnishings create an atmosphere of refined calm, while the lush tropical oasis beyond the glass brings nature directly into the living space.

The open-plan dining area flows seamlessly from the great room, offering generous seating for the entire group. The chef’s kitchen — appointed with granite countertops and top-of-the-line appliances — invites leisurely cooking with volcano views as your backdrop.

Five beautifully appointed bedrooms dressed in neutral tones and premium bedding provide an intimate sanctuary for every guest. Three feature king beds, each with a private en-suite bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower — one with a dedicated sitting room, another with an indulgent massage hot tub. Two additional rooms offer twin full beds with private bathrooms, one also with its own sitting room. Select rooms open to private balconies through sliding glass doors, where the volcanic panorama greets you each morning.

Beyond the walls, three distinct interior living rooms and two outdoor living areas provide endless spaces to gather, unwind, or simply sit in silence before the volcanoes. Three dining areas — two interior, one al fresco — complete this resort-caliber setting.

Guatemala’s highlands unfold at your doorstep. Hike ancient volcanic trails, discover old-world colonial architecture, and immerse yourself in one of the world’s finest coffee cultures through daily tastings and private estate tours. The views from the surrounding lookout points stretch endlessly across the valley — a reminder that some places on earth simply cannot be replicated.

Luxe Architectural Retreat is for the discerning traveler who demands both beauty and soul.

Excepcionalmente lindo!!!

Great home and host.

The home is gorgeous. The host is very accommodating. It is on the side of an active volcano which is a little intimidating but you get used to it. The pool and hot tub are incredible. Hope to visit again! ”

A good place for visiting Antigua and Atitlan! Relax!

The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is well located in terms of tourism. If you want to stay at the house there is nothing to do but read and relax...there is no cable TV or internet. Hosts are not allowed to heat up the hot tub or water of the pool. View of the Volcan de Fuego is fenomenal. Maid service is one of the best we have had and food is delicious.”
