Provisioning and Other Fees
Upon booking confirmation, there is an $80 per person per day fee due for food, beverage, captain, crew, dockage and fuel charges.
Food and beverage overages for non-standard requirements will be charged to guests at end of week (We have never been charged this extra as we have found the food to be of excellent quality and quantity and available wines and spirits to be more than satisfactory).
Most specialty diets can be accommodated with advance notice to the crew. They are very careful about food and drink preferences and will go out of their way to see that you are accommodated within reason.
In addition to the above, the following fees are also payable at the time of booking confirmation:
Charter Company Turn Around Fee - $710.00
BVI National Park Fee - $25.00
BVI Government Cruising Tax - $6.00 per day/per person
The charges and governmental fees are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of booking confirmation.
Gratuities for the crew are the normal practice in the islands and expected as they constitute a large portion of the crew’s income and as an incentive for a high-quality service level. The charter industry suggested amount is 15-20% of the $28,000 per week retail price of the trip paid to the crew as you depart at the end of your trip. This would be between $4,200 and $5,600 for the week. We split this up between ourselves and our guests on a cabin basis. It is money well spent. Cash is preferred but payment by check to the crew on departure is certainly acceptable.

December 2021Outstanding in every way.
This was probably our best Third Home adventure to date. We were very fortunate to get an outstanding crew and a new boat and although we understand this is not necessarily the case, we would still recommend a trip of this sort. The British Virgin Islands are a beautiful part of the world. ”
