The Reefs Club

Employees are wonderful. The location on the beach is fantastic. The beach is beautiful and the infinity pool and hot tub have amazing views. We played pickleball on the courts across the street. We rented EV assist bikes across the street and road them on the railway trail. We went on two separate jet ski tours out of Hamilton. One tour we visited a couple places for cliff jumping. Several great restaurants a short taxi ride from the condo. Concierge at the Reefs scheduled all of our taxi rides and several dinner reservations.”

Amazing location and space!

We had a very large 3 bedroom which was steps from the pool and beach with beautiful ocean views. Well equipped with everything we needed, even to host a dinner party. Onsite gym and restaurants, especially Coconuts, were nice and very convenient. Bus stop to other parts of the island was right out the door. Staff was friendly and helpful. ”

Wonderful Stay

We have a delightful stay at The Reefs. The condo is well-appointed and the resort staff is wonderful. The beach is very private and pretty. We were there just post-Covid despite the restrictions, we really enjoyed it. ”

The staff were excellent, but our particular condo 411 was dreary. Some of the furniture had holes, bedding and drapes were outdated, dark inside, dryer top rusted, jacuzzi rusted. Owners need to update. Food , pool and lounge were nice.”

Simply Amazing!

This resort does it right. We quarantined here for 2 weeks on our way to our son's wedding in London. While we endured two hurricanes, one a direct hit, we never felt unsafe. Everything was perfect at this resort. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely stay again!”

Beautiful spot; great beach, wonderful people, both guests and staff, rooms top notch. Only shortcoming is on site food disappointing; plenty of places to go off campus though that were good. Highly recommend it. Bill”

Great stay with an abrupt ending

The property is gorgeous, the staff friendly and the onsite restaurants seem to have upped their game and are as good as any on the island. Guests should be aware that the 11am checkout time is firm. The on-site restaurants don’t open until noon, so be prepared to entertain yourself for that interim hour if you don’t have to leave for the airport until afternoon. Amenities — the beautiful infinity pool and the beach — are available until your departure, along with shower and changing facilities. I recommend that The Reefs consider opening their restaurants at 11:30 on Saturdays (checkout day). That would really make checkout day a lot easier on guests, and eliminate the single bad experience we had during our stay, which was leaving, I also recommend guests ask about the meal plan program. We think it’s well worth the cost.”

Outstanding property and service!

Everyone on staff was exceptional and we had a great time enjoying the weather, ocean and culture in Bermuda's southern coast. The hotel is amazing with exceptional service, however the Club was even better. The Club infinity pool that overlooks the hotel and beach was our location of choice for the week. We ended up eating most lunches there by the pool. Other highlights included jumping off the top of the coral staircaise about 100 feet out and snorkeling around in the reefs. Dinner at the Indian restaurant downtown was the best meal we had off-property. Would definitely go back.”

This resort has it all. Views, infinity pools, good food, and exceptional food and staff. We all commented on how friendly everyone was that we encountered on the island. We used the bus system and taxis. No car rentals available which wasn't an issue. Driving on the opposite side of the road and roadways were little confusing. Great ocean front restaurants near the Reefs. Would definitely visit Bermuda again!!!”

Reefs + Bermuda = Great Vacation Always

Always a favorite as a quick getaway. 2 hour flight from Philly and your in beautiful Bermuda. Love the Reefs, Very spacious and comfortable accommodations. The snorkeling right off the beach is terrific. Concierge at the Reefs is very helpful with dining and other arrangements on the island.”

Pure relaxation!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Reefs. The concierge there (Andrea) took care of scheduling our arrival and departure transfers, including a stop at a grocery store on the way to the unit to pick up supplies for the week. These charges were able to be added to our room bill so that we didn't have to worry about exchanging currency immediately upon arrival, which was extremely convenient. Because visitors can't rent cars, we chose to spend all of our time at The Reefs rather than hassling with pricey taxis or the bus system. A large private beach with clear blue water, gentle waves, and chairs/umbrellas/towels (no additional charge) is shared with the hotel guests. The Reefs Club has its own infinity pool, which is much larger and nicer than the one at the hotel. We never found it difficult to find an available chair/umbrella. There is also an infinity hot tub near the pool with great views of the beach, but each unit has its own outdoor private hot tub as well. The units are quite large - as there were fractional ownership still for sale, we were able to find floor plans of the units online on real estate sites, which made it easier to plan. The kitchen was great for cooking in - all essential cookware was in the cabinets, and ready for use. There was an indoor table for 6, an outdoor table for 6, and counter seating in the kitchen. There is a half bath just as you walk into the unit (good for people sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room) that isn't noted in the listing. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit (with detergent provided), so no need to pack too much! There are two identical master suites (great for 2 couples travelling together!) - each has an enormous bathroom with a stand-alone tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, walk-in closet, dual sinks, and separate WC. The 3rd bedroom wasn't quite as grand, but it still had its own en suite bathroom and private outdoor sitting area. The only downside, which I think is an island-wide problem rather than something particular to this resort, is that the internet was unreliable. There were times that the speed was adequate to stream perfectly from Netflix, and there were times that it was so slow that it was difficult to check email. It was a small inconvenience during an otherwise very relaxing trip!”

Best Vacation Ever

Spectacular Setting

What a wonderful week I had with my family in this lovely, comfortable residence. The Reefs Club a great place to go for an adult family retreat. It's perched on a bluff above the most beautiful beach with turquoise waters. The three bedroom space was large and up to date with every comfort imaginable. The front desk and cleaning staff were attentive and well worth the extra fee for service and cleaning each day. The particular unit is on the pool level and some may feel that it's not completely private, but we enjoyed being able to walk right out to the pool area with ease or down the steps to the beach. The Reef's hotel next door is a little older and can use a little updating but the it's still charming and offers a boutique feeling with a limited number of rooms. Visitors to Bermuda should be aware that rental cars are not permitted on the island and taxis everywhere are costly. This property isn't walking distance to town or many restaurants so be prepared to spend a good amount of money to visit various restaurants and attractions. Of course, the kitchen within the unit is well equipped so cooking at home is always and option.”

Great place to stay!

We stayed at the Reefs Club and had a great time. The unit we stayed in was beautiful, the beach below was awesome. The staff, while sometimes on island time:), were friendly and earnest. One caveat is that the unit we stayed in (411) is in the ground floor facing the pool. The plus is that the pool, Jacuzzi, and steps to the beach are outside your door - the minus is that you have less privacy than the other units. It is a preference issue not a criticism. Although, some curtains on the doors in the common area facing the poll would be nice. This "not for everyone" location is the only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars. We loved it. PS KIM, we were there in Sept and the place was perfect. I was told that in July and August it can be quite busy.”

The Reefs Club Southampton, Bermuda

We enjoyed our stay at The Reefs Club, with some reservations. The beach is gorgeous, the infinity pool lovely (but crowded) and our ground floor unit itself really nice (but not very private). We dined twice at one of the restaurants (Coconuts) and it was excellent. However, the resort is fairly isolated and one needs to take expensive taxis (or busses) everywhere, as rental cars are not permitted. Resort transportation, especially for grocery shopping, would have been much appreciated. Also, we were surprised to see gratuities, in some cases excessive, automatically tacked onto our bill at checkout.”

Incredible Location and Amazing Unit

This was our first 3rd Home rental, and it was fantastic. The unit was beautiful, with easy access to the beach, pool, personal hot tub and a firepit area with incredible ocean views, etc. The staff was very accommodating, and the beach was uncrowded and relaxing. We will definitely come back!”

Excellent stay

Beautiful property. All bedrooms have spectacular views, kitchen is very well equipped, helpful and friendly staff. Bermuda is a beautiful, safe island with great beaches and golf courses. There is rail trail which is easily accessed from the reefs. We enjoyed running on it most days. Winter weather in bermuda is in the 60s put a lot warmer than northeast US weather in winter. Highly recommended. ”

Spectacular Property

This wonderful property was all that was promised and more! It is sited magnificently, the Reefs Club was wonderful, the amenities plentiful and 5 star. The condo itself was very large and user friendly, with more than enough room for 3 couples to enjoy. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed all of our interactions with them. The Coconuts restaurant, which is in the hotel part of the complex, was a long walk and was just adequate at best. I only wish I had read the description completely regards daily charges, as the $700.00 bill we were handed checking out was a surprise, but that is my fault. Overall, a great stay!”

Beautiful Bermuda

I hate to give the Reefs a wonderful review as I would like to keep it all to myself. But to be honest, it was incredible. Fantastic property, we had to force ourselves to make time to leave the resort to explore the island. Great water, plenty of activities for all. Great snorkeling right from the beach. Pool and spa were incredible. The units were as described, a home away from home. We were fortunate enough to attend a Chef's table for dinner one evening. Food and wine pairings were some of the best we've had and rivaled anything on the island. We had fantastic weather and tears in our eyes to leave. ”

We had a wonderful time. The Reefs Club is beautifully maintained and the units themselves are terrific. 2 Master suites that are identical and a 3rd very spacious bedroom with lovely bath. All had terraces. The pool area is beautiful and Anthony at the pool bar is terrific!! He makes everyone feel so welcome! The views are so beautiful and the property is located near a number of excellent restaurants plus Coconuts, on property, has great food and views. The concierge took care of all of our reservations and taxis when needed. I would highly recommend!!”

Outstanding beach and rooms!

I've been on many beaches around the world, and this one has the best combination of sand quality (very deep and soft), water color, temperature, clarity, and visual interest with exotic rock formations all around. Faces south, so there's sun on the beach all day. Plus, it is private in that only guests of the hotel/club can reach it. No peddlers, no random locals, so it's safe and SECURE, even on a moonlit night (or on a stormy night). My wife and I dragged a couple beach chairs to a secluded spot where we couldn't see any lights and the sand glowed bright in the moonlight. The club suites are outstanding, I could live there and be very happy with the place. If relaxing in the sun is the first priority, this is the place!”

Gorgeous, first rate porperty

We had a fantastic week. The property is absolutely beautiful. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We slept like babies on the very comfortable beds with the ocean waves breaking just below. It's great the way the glass paneled walls disappear to combine inside and out living. We took advantage of the free masks, snorkels and kayaks to explore the reef just offshore. Oleander scooter rental is just across the street, they had scooters available when all the shops in Hamilton had none available due to all the boats arriving from the Newport Bermuda race and three cruise ships in town.”
