Kennebunk Beach, Maine
Summer Dreams, just a short walk to Mothers Beach and an easy bike ride to Kennebunkport, makes this shingle -style home one of the most desirable locations on the New England Coast. Kennebunkport, famous for George Bush and the best lobsters in the world, is a quaint village with all the New England charm you could ever imagine. Take a carriage ride through the village, or stop at the Clam Shack in the port for a pint of Clam Strips and Haddock or have a glass of wine over looking the boats coming in and out of the historic port; you will find lots to do here, year round. Art shops can be found on almost every corner with the artist on the lawn painting in the fall or summertime. Summer Dreams is what you think of when you think of Maine. Sitting on a quiet street just off the beach, tucked in by blooming flowers everywhere, this home is one of the most peaceful locations; however you can catch the sunrise over the beach each morning with your coffee in less than a minute walk! Golf is also right in Kennebunk just a few blocks away and at Kennebunkport. If you feel the urge you can wonder up and down the coast and discover some of the most photographed lighthouses. Vermont is only a few hours away, Boston less than 2 hours Newport just 3 hours... It is classic New England...we just love it!

This beautiful home is in the perfect location. A short 2 minute walk to the beach, but back off Beach Avenue so you don't have the traffic. The backyard is totally private and we spend many nights out here eating lobster. Speaking of lobster, the home has everything you need to cook and eat lobster right at the house. The master bedroom is downstairs with an office and three more bedrooms upstairs. Be sure and use one of the 5 bikes there to bike to the CLAM SHACK for the best fried clam strips and haddock you have ever tasted. Spend a day in Portland, only a 40 minute drive. Only an hour is LL Bean in Freeport....worth the drive. We flew in and out of Boston airport, only 1 hour and 45 minutes. Portland airport is only 35 minutes and easy to get in and out. We used Capt Neils for inshore fishing and within the first two minutes landed a 43 inch Striper. Behind the Clam Shack is a great place to rent paddle boards and paddle under the port bridge in a protected area. Great place...great time! ”
Amazing week in Maine
My family and I had a terrific time in Maine at Summer Dreams. Clarice was very kind and accessible. The house is so comfortable and well appointed. We loved lounging around and enjoying the house. The house is 1 short block from the beach, which made it incredibly easy to make multiple trips to the beach every day. We hope to come back again. A great time was had by all. Thanks Clarice! ”
Favorite place in New England
This home is one of my favorites. Off the busy beach street but just a 2 minute walk to Mothers Beach. Try the Clam Shack at the bridge on the harbor. Ate there every night. Also drive up to Cape Porpoise and have breakfast at the Wayfarer cafe. Saw Barbara Bush almost every morning walking her dogs on the beach. She was sweet, stopping every day to talk. HB Provisions is the best place for wine and groceries. Lobsters run about $5 or $6 a pound in September. The house has wireless and an office to work from if you need it.”
Our Maine vacation at Summer Dreams
The property was a lovely and well-kept home, and we could see that the owner took pride in this lovely property. There were wonderful amenities..we had everything we needed including a printer for my laptop. Each morning I would have coffee on the flowering back yard terrace/patio. What a way to start the day! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. The location of the home in Kennebunk was perfect...we were a short walk to the beach, a short drive to the shops and restaurants, and yet we felt like we were in the countryside. The owner, Clarise, was incredible to work with. She provided me with everything, including restaurants, and places of interests well before our trip. She kept in close contact and was accessible and approachable in case I had any questions. She was a real delight! ”

Summer Dreams is awesome!
Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our week at Summer Dreams. The house is beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. It truly is your home away from home. We walked on the beach, rode bikes, shopped in Kennebunport, did the whale watch trip and saw "Damn Yankees" at the Ogunquit Theater. Plus, we enjoyed just lounging at the house. Fantastic!!”
Fabulous location, bike to Kennebunkport or just a 3 minute walk to Mothers Beach. House is a nicely furnished. One of the best locations in all of New England. ”
Great beach home and only a short walk to Mothers Beach. You can bike ride into the port and be sure and try the Clam Shack at the bridge. The home is bright, open, and has great beach colors throughout. A private patio for sunning or grilling. Great flowers everywhere. We had a great time! ”
