The temperate year-round climate makes Vava’u an ideal location for sailing through dreamy lagoon-like waters from one paradise island cove to the next, exploring the many secluded anchorages around Vava'u in some of the most famous sheltered sailing grounds in the world. Fetoko Island (hosting Mandala Resort), together with most islands on the eastern side of Vava’u, is a fossilized ancient coral seabed, which has been pushed up from the sea floor over time.
Boasting some of the most spectacular coral gardens in all of the Pacific, the resort offers a range of exciting tours and activities including land exploration tours, snorkeling and diving. Step off the yacht and feel like swimming into a gold mine. Dive and snorkel with breath-taking marine life and explore spectacular hidden caverns in the clearest waters on the planet, with often up to 30 meters / 100 feet of visibility.
Take advantage of the fishing gear onboard your yacht and troll a line when sailing from island to island, to catch yellow-fin tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi or similar pelagic species, which might become lunch or dinner! Thanks to your onboard Chef, expect expertly prepared cuisine, with a focus on fresh local products. Enjoy the generous, free and well-stocked bar service that is ready to take your orders for delicious sunset cocktails.
