Conveniently located less than 3 miles from the stoplight in the center of Cashiers and less than 15 miles to Main St in Highlands, Laurelwood is secluded yet accessible.
The house provides 4 well appointed levels with plenty of space for all.
The main level consists of a great room with stacked stone fireplace, chef's kitchen and dining room, master suite with stacked stone fireplace, ensuite bath including jetted tub, separate shower and double vanity. All rooms open to top level covered deck with gas grill, dining set, and rocking chairs to enjoy the tranquil views of the lake and mountains.
The top level loft features a queen bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 extra long twins and ensuite bath with shower as well as sitting area overlooking the great room.
The lower level includes 2 king bedrooms, both with ensuite baths, and a sitting/media room with stacked stone fireplace and wet bar. The laundry closet is located on this level, and all opens to another covered deck with swing chairs and a hammock.
The basement level sleeps 6 on 2 triple bunks in the bunk room and also features an entertainment space with pool table which converts to a ping pong table. There is a full bath as well with rain shower and a hot tub on the lower deck, perfect for winding down at the end of the day.
A private dock ensures space for water toys and docking a boat in spring and summer. There is also a fire pit area with 6 Adirondack chairs by the lake.
This special Blue Ridge Mountain location is known as the land of waterfalls and provides many opportunities for hikes to these spectacular sites.
Fine and casual dining, world-class shopping, and spa opportunities abound in the charming towns of Cashiers and Highlands nearby.
Boats and water toys may be rented at Signal Ridge Marina, a mile from the house.
Please note the lake is navigable during spring and summer months and is lowered to control flooding from mid-October through March.
