Not all residences are created equal.

This is my first ever review of a place as amazing as The Ritz Carlton that was not 5 stars. Our Unit had so many problems. We are a family that likes to cook together and stayed over the Christmas week. The stove/range, dishwasher and garage disposal were all broken. We said something everyday and finally got someone to do something once my husband complained to management. The cleaning staff picked up my retainer and somehow lost it and I received no follow-through to resolve the issue. We have stayed at this Ritz property before and had a complete 5 star experience but this one was not unfortunately. Perhaps with new staff during the holiday time, I don't now, but very disappointing and definitely not worth the 25 keys that I used. ”

Wonderful stay!

Our family had a wonderful week at this property! The staff is warm and helpful. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. You can rent skis on site and the shuttle took you a 30 steps from ski lessons and the gondola. The home is beautiful as well. ”

Fantastic location and Ritz experience

We have stayed in Aspen Ritz many times before our first time in Vail. I would note the online description bed configuration is King X2 and two twin/twin beds, not 3 Kings as listed as well a smaller room size than listed. It is also different to set up with not a full kitchen like Aspen so recommend a grocery shop for breakfast/dinner as an area very hard to get into restaurants. The location was perfect , just a short shuttle to the mountain which was some best skiing ever done. ”

Located near Lionshead village. The accommodations are as expected from the Ritz, so are the amenities and service. Not ski in/out but they provide easy transportation to the ski base and store your skis at the base.”

Great Vacation!

Something for everyone in Vail! The resort was lovely. One of the rooms got a little warm so we asked for a fan and that made it perfect. The club shuttle will take you all around Vail but we preferred to walk and enjoy the perfect weather. ”

You would expect the Ritz Carlton to do a great job, but I think they even went above and beyond this time. From the Valet folks, cleaning, bar and live music, and our fabulous concierge, ERIN, we were so happy. Thank you Ritz Vail for making our stay so wonderful. ”

Extremely comfortable and convenient

This 3 bedroom was very spacious and perfect for our family, which includes young kids. We were so grateful to have washer and dryer and all things a traveling family with children might need. The two master bedrooms were very comfortable and the house keeping staff was superb. The ski valet at the property is a great plus. The only downside to this property is that the hotel doesn’t really have a restaurant, but besides that we had a wonderful time. ONE more comment, one of the shuttle drivers was extremely rude on the night ride into Vail town. But that has nothing to do with the actual condo and property, we complained to the hotel for that driver. ”

I don't think it's possible that they could be more clean or better kept - the cleaning staff do an amazing job, and with twice daily service, they truly spoil you on vacation. The concierge team was so very nice, and amazingly helpful - they made great plans for activities for us, and even better restaurant recommendations and reservations. I very very VERY highly recommend, and can't wait to go back for another visit!”

Great Ski Vacation

Our suite of rooms was spacious, well equipped with grand views! The Property is lovely with a heated pool, ski valet, boot valet and shuttles that take you to the slopes in the morning and dinner in the evening. We drove in, parked our car and never used it until we left so much easier to have the shuttle take and drop us around town. The staff was super helpful on everything. Even brought a cake to us for my son's bday. They had some fun events in the evenings on some nights we attended movie night for the kids and wine tasting for the adults. They have a limited dinner/bar bites menu and breakfast is only available a few days a week. Hope to return to ski again! ”

If you are looking for great service this is the place to go in Vail. The staff are exceptional, including the ski/boot room folks who were exceptional. The Ritz is a little out of the way relative to town and the slopes, but the cheerful staff are always willing to shuttle you anywhere you want to go. I will go back again.”

This is a terrific property and in a wonderful location. The unit we stayed in was one of the nicer ones at the property and worked perfectly. Beautiful pool, hot tubs and spa. Because this is not affiliated with a Ritz hotel (like in Beaver Creek) it lacks any food service. But we would definitely come back. ”
