Amazing Stay

his home is amazing on every level. We had a wonderful time during our stay in Gordon’s Bay. The owner, Lindsay, was an incredible help—her preparation for our arrival was second to none. The home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nareema, the house aide, was always available and attentive to all of our needs. We shared our daily requests, and when we returned to the house, everything was exactly as requested. Martha, the cleaning professional, was unbelievable—laundry was completed, folded, and even ironed. We truly could not have asked for more. I would absolutely stay here again. A small touch of paradise, for sure.”

We so enjoyed our stay at Le Riad. Lyndsay, our host, was super responsive to all our questions and was so helpful in recommendations to wineries that were breathtakingly beautiful. We had an extremely drenching rain day that we happily spent at Le Riad in front of an enormous roaring fire…it was delightful. Le Riad is out of the pages of Architectural Digest and all the attention to detail is stunning. Nareema acclimated us to Gordon’s Bay and drove us to wineries and to Hermanus to see the whales. Nareema is a true treasure and helped make this a PERFECT trip.”

We loved our stay in Gordon's Bay at the Riad de l'Espérance! The home is so unique and special with everything you could possibly need or want. We loved cooking in the kitchen with that view and all the amenities. The pool and jacuzzi were also well enjoyed. Each room has it's own special charm and we loved them all. A wonderful way to end our trip to Africa. We felt like we were home even though we were continents away. The views are spectacular and the decor made us feel we were in a warm welcoming museum. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay at Le Riad. The home is exquisite...spacious & beautifully appointed with Moroccan treasures. The view of the ocean is superb. Our host was extremely gracious and provided great guidance for food and fun in the region. Rogers was there to help with all of our needs, including driving us when needed! He was so gracious and available as needed, but not in the way. Finally, food and wine is incredible in the wine region. So thankful for Lindsay, our host, and Third Home for making this adventure possible.”

Incredible Home and Vacation Experience

The Gordons Bay home is fantastic. It is comfortable, has amazing views of the bay and mountains, and fascinating décor. Staying there adds to a wonderful experience. It is close to both Cape Town and many of the Garden Route sights so we had a lot to enjoy, including African Penguins at Bettys Bay, Cape Aguilas, Cape of Good Hope, and the scenic Garden Route of South Africa. Rodgers added to the experience by making sure that we had everything that we needed. It could not have been better!”

Exceptional 5 Star Villa!

This home exceeded all expectations, with a Moroccan theme throughout, & breathtaking views of False Bay. Fabulous chef kitchen was just that, amazing! The owners went way out of their way to accommodate our travel plans, & the hospitality they showed us allowed us to have the trip of a lifetime. All of their recommendations of places to visit were spot on... The location really was fantastic, close to the Vineyards of Stellenbosh, with views that rival Tuscany, Italy. The penguins of Betty's Bay, and the whale watching in Hermanes. Our only regret is we didn't have more time to enjoy the many outdoor seating options the home offered, there was too much to see. Just not enough time, Hopefully next time...”

Beautiful home!

The property is wonderful with very special view on the ocean and Sunset. The owners are very welcoming. The house is centrally situated at 45 minutes from Cape Town, close to the vineyards and Hermanus. The costal road is incredibly beautiful.
