Bend River View Residence
Bend River View Residence
On the westside of Bend, Oregon, a resort community offers a variety of tempting possibilities for outdoor enthusiasts. Built at the edge of the National Forest, right above the Deschutes River, Mount Bachelor Village certainly has it all from on-site fitness, a seasonal pool, direct access to hiking and mountain biking trails, and an idyllic location just down the hill from Mt. Bachelor Ski Area.
This three-bedroom, three-bathroom Mt. Bachelor Village residence promises first-class comfort from top to bottom. Start out on the main floor, where the living room promises a cozy environment with a plush sectional, gas fireplace, and wall-mounted flat-screen TV/DVD. High ceilings add a dramatic touch to the room, and huge floor-to-ceiling windows bring you sweeping views of the Deschutes River below and the wooded hillside beyond. A sophisticated dining table for six allows you to gather for intimate, sit-down meals, and the fully equipped kitchen has all you’ll need for informal dining, including a breakfast bar and high-end appliances. Grab a blanket, your slippers, and a cup of coffee for mornings on the balcony listening to the river roar, the birds sing, and the wind sift through the treetops. A gas grill awaits to help you fuel up before an adventure-packed day, and a river-view hot tub promises a soothing end-of-day soak.
You can access the balcony from the first-floor master bedroom. Each bedroom in this enchanting home feels incredibly spacious, with mirror walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Both bedrooms on the first floor feature luxurious queen beds and wall-mounted TVs and share an expansive full bathroom, which has a separate bedroom entrance as well. One of the rooms has its own coffee-making space, mini-fridge, desk, window sitting area, and full bathroom. A third bedroom resides on the second floor with a large king bed, wall-mounted TV, walk-in closet, and a full bathroom with a shower and separate soaking tub under beautiful skylights.
Mt. Bachelor Village Resort is rich in amenities; kids will love the playground and game room, and everybody will appreciate the outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. The Mt. Bachelor Village Nature Trail takes you along a spectacular two-mile wilderness journey that shares a section of the Deschutes River Trail. Mt. Bachelor Village is a quick drive to downtown Bend and the Old Mill District for shopping and dining. The Newberry National Volcanic Monument, Drake Park, Oregon Badlands, and Tumalo Falls are just a short drive away, too.

Good Times in Bend Oregon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bend Oregon. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the views of the sunrise every morning were amazing! The family enjoyed the beautiful Deschutes River walk which is just a jot through the woods from the Facility. It snowed one day which was fun and we enjoyed a Polaris adventure through the woods and Lava Badlands. The kids enjoyed the game room and board games the facility had to offer. The kitchen was small for a group of 6 but not an unusual set up for Ski towns. We all enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace! We like to cook in but eating out for a change was fun for us. We visited Sisters nearby for an Art Walk, shopping and great huckleberry smoothies and coffee. Thanks to our hosts for sharing your home during Thanksgiving!”
