Places of Interest
- Twenty miles northeast, San Jose del Cabo is Cabo San Lucas' sister city, a charming and romantic colonial town with the flavor of Old Mexico.
- With the area’s best surf beaches, a palm filled estuary ideal for bird watching, a sea turtle nursery and the La Laguna mountains to explore, San Jose is an ideal destination for nature and adventure lovers.
- 120 km SE of La Paz, and 64 km NE of the CSL and San Jose's International Airport off Highway #1 along the Sea of Cortez, the waters of the East Cape or "Cabo del Este" as it’s known locally, have attracted sport fishermen for many decades.
- Todos Santos – For great food visit Todos Santos where the fish is caught daily and the ranches are local meaning the ingredients are very fresh.
- El Arco – A natural rock arch off the coast of Cabo San Lucas. There is also the chance to see sea-lions when visiting the Arch.

February 2024Villa La Estancia, Cabo San Lucas
This is a spacious and comfortable condo in a very well maintained complex. The pool is gorgeous and access to the beach extremely convenient. The condo offers access to the neighboring resorts with several restaurants, shops and other amenities. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

November 2022Chill vibe and beautiful residence that is on the beach at Cabo
Villa La Estancia is a jewel. While we knew of the Villa resorts linked together on the Cabo San Lucas' Medano Beach, we had never visited La Estancia. A trade with Third Home opened up the opportunity to stay there, and we were delighted with the quality of the residence--the two-bedroom with private separate junior suite connected by a courtyard to the main one-bedroom unit, the furnishings and kitchen in the residence, and the well-kept grounds and pool, not to mention the resort's commitment to spotless cleanliness. The staff were attentive and friendly. La Casona, the restaurant onsite, was so good we booked a second dinner before we left. Thanks to Third Home we discovered another amazing place in Cabo and will definitely return to Villa La Estancia. ”

September 2021Tough review
First off the service at La Estancia is excellent, 5 stars all the way. The staff at the resort and the restaurant, La Casona, are incredible and need to be given proper credit. The reason for the 3 star review is apparently during the month of September the resort is under construction. I was told this not by the owner of the property before our stay, but by multiple employees of Estancia during our stay. In fact there was 18 different condo's under construction all at the same time as well as the pool bar area so the entire resort felt like a construction zone. The elevator had construction debris in it the entire time we were there and from 9-5 each day the room was vibrating and tile/concrete chipping saws were running above our unit as well as throughout the resort. The manager of the resort insisted that every owner is aware of the construction month of September since it is in their HOA docs. I wish we were informed ahead of time. That being said, I would not hesitate to recommend Estancia in any other month, but do not go in September”
