Description

Historical Philadelphia Trinity Home

This impeccable three-story trinity-style townhome is situated on one of the most beautiful tree-lined blocks in the heart of Washington Square West. The location of this home is truly hard to beat, being steps from Philadelphia's signature Avenue of the Arts, close to the shops and restaurants of South Street, the antique stores and coffee shops on Pine Street, the Lombard-South Broad Street Line station, several SEPTA bus lines, Seger Dog Park, playgrounds, and tennis courts, ACME and Whole Foods Markets, and anything you'll ever need all within walking distance!

Behind the beautiful brick façade is a carefully and meticulously renovated two-bedroom home with luxurious mid-century modern decor throughout. A spacious and light-filled living room with soaring ceiling height, a handsome marble-faced gas fireplace, Schuylkill River Pine hardwood floors, and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV create a stylish dig to relax in. Proceed into the gorgeous kitchen, which features granite countertops, colorful subway tile backsplash, professional-grade stainless steel appliances, and radiant heated floors—perfect for warming your feet on cold winter days. There is a picture window overlooking the private garden patio, which adjoins the kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee or dinner with friends in this charming outdoor space.

The second floor features a generously sized guest bedroom with two large windows overlooking Camac Street. A very versatile room. Use the room as a bedroom offering a murphy queen bed, a den for quiet reading and relaxation, or raise the expandable coffee table making it easy to convert the room into a fully functional office. A few steps up to the third floor will reveal the primary bedroom, which features a classic exposed brick wood-burning fireplace and tray ceiling, creating a loft-like space. Sprawl out on the queen bed and enjoy the convenience of two large closets. The newly renovated bathroom features a large glass-enclosed shower with body jets, two shower heads, a Toto sink, and luxurious stone finishes. The large basement features a laundry area and plenty of space for storage.

Location, location, location! Walk to practically every neighborhood in 15 minutes. The Art Museum area is a 25-minute walk. The home is located in a historical mews where a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra lives, and you may be lucky enough to attend his neighborhood concert! Don't forget to get your picture taken with the Rocky Statue at the Philadelphia Art Museum and put your taste buds to the test to settle the great Philly cheesesteak debate between two sandwich rivalries: Pat's and Geno's!

Greatest vaca. in two+ years?

While it is true we haven’t been out much, no thanks to Covid, this proved to be a great vacation to break the trend. First, even before leaving, the assistance given by the owner just made us want to come. Then upon arrival we were so happy with the location, and the Trinity Home. The home was very neat, comfortable and CLEAN! We have nothing but accolades for this home. We parked the car on Friday, and didn’t drive again until the following Friday. It is a walkers dream. We walked everywhere, it was so centrally located. Because we could walk as much as we did it was so easy to meet new people. Some that were neighbors and others that were visitors like us. Just don’t be afraid to smile and say hi. Offer to take pics of families, then people add to the whole experience. Thanks for being a great Host, we will always remember: “The Trinity Home””
