Glorious week at Mirador 13

The house is stunning, although a tad dated in areas and there are small things in need of repair. None of that diminished our time there. Eduarda and Nanda took great care of us during the week cooking breakfast and lunch every day and making up the rooms. Eduarda did our laundry towards the end of the week. I speak a little Spanish, but needed the Google Translate app to communicate with Eduarda which was hilarious for both of us at times. We gave her money every day to buy food - 500 Pesos per couple is more than enough - and told her to cook what she wanted. Authentic Mexican fare - lots of tortillas, beans and seafood. Left a good tip at the end. They leave at 5pm, so we went out to eat every night at resorts nearby with beautiful views of the ocean and stunning sunsets, but you could go into Ixtapa or Zihua also. There were plenty of beaches to choose from, but be aware that it's not Carribean-type pristine beach. Lots of people selling trinkets and a pile of dog poop here and there. We were back at the house pool after an hour because it was more relaxing there. Francisco, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Responded right away to every request. The hot water wasn't working when we arrived and he had somebody there within a few hours. Helped with communication between me and Eduarda when needed. Mirador 13 is a great choice to get sun after a long winter (never saw a cloud) and relax in a beautiful house with stunning views.”

Unique beautiful home!

This home has amazing entertaining space. The whole top level is beautiful around the pool and great for hanging out in the sun and has great shade as well. The house is totally open air except the bedrooms! Very unique and beautiful! The owner is very attentive and helpful. The house staff were very friendly. They did our grocery shopping. I definitely recommend allowing her to make local cuisine! The bedrooms are on different floors so keep that in mind with smaller children you may want close by. The neighborhood is gated with great security that are very thorough! ”

Amazing House & Amazing Views in Ixtapa!

The house, the pool and the views were nothing short of spectacular! But what made our stay best was the generosity of spirt and helpfulness of the owner, German! And on top of that, the amazing housekeeper/cook Marisela! With her extra helper, they prepared two meals a day for us, on top of keeping the house locked spotless and even doing our laundry daily (you need to hire the second housekeeper very $reasonably to get this amount of service). German was so helpful in scheduling our use of his boat, and the boat crew was great - very safe, and constant attention to the level of our cocktails! :) Thank you for a great stay German, can’t wait to visit again!
