Palm Springs Midcentury Dream

This mid-century modern home is a California dream. Nestled perfectly in the iconic desert and with panoramic views of the spectacular San Jacinto Canyons mountain range, get ready for the stay of a lifetime. The 2500 square feet of living space accommodates eight people and is perfect for staying with family or friends. Although the interior of the home is magnificent, and the exterior is equally incredible. The house is situated on the Indian Canyon Golf Course and feels like an oasis with a manicured lawn and great privacy. The resort-style pool, fire pit, and outdoor lounging options for everyone will make you fall in love with the space upon arrival.

As you enter into the one-story home, you will be charmed by the consistent color palette, local artwork, and one-of-a-kind and vintage details that catch your eye. The open concept living plan makes it easy to enjoy everyone's company. The gray polished porcelain floors set a luxurious tone for the house in addition to the high ceilings and custom teardrop fireplace feature. The leather ottomans surrounding the fireplace add warmth to the room. Commissioned artwork from a well-known local artist hangs in the living room. Sunlight pours into the space from the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors. The dining space is just as captivating and feels like you have stepped onto an Old Hollywood movie set. The modern kitchen is sparkling and boasts stainless steel appliances, a Nespresso machine, bar seating, and is fully equipped for your every cooking need.

As you walk into the first bedroom, you will be blown away by the size of the space and the expansive views of the poolside living. The master bedroom has sliding glass doors, so in the morning, you will rise from your comfy king-sized bed with the majestic sun casting a warm glow over the mountains. The ensuite is spacious and perfectly updated with double vanity, a walk-in shower, and a soaker tub. The second guest bedroom features a queen-sized bed with Trina Turk bedding and sliding glass doors with its own full guest bathroom. The third room houses twin beds and overlooks the pool and mountains, and adjacent to this room is a full bathroom. A fourth and final bedroom offers ample space, sliding doors to the pool, and an upgraded ensuite. A modern powder bath in the hallway completes the indoor living space.

As you make your way around Palm Springs on one of the bikes provided by the owners, you will absolutely adore every bit of the area. The garage parking allows for two cars, while another can fit in the driveway, so you can get around a little quicker for the farther trips you may take. A free shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes from Palm Canyon Drive to the Uptown area, where shopping and dining are plentiful for those who decide to forgo driving.

Whether it is the charm of the desert and palm trees galore, or the many outdoor adventures not far from home, you will never run out of things to do and places to see!

A Beautiful Quiet Stay in Palm Springs

Our family had a lovely stay at this beautiful mid century modern gem. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable and the great room provided ample seating to watch the television. The owner was very responsive to our questions and concerns. You definitely need to have a car in order to easily get around the area. It is so close to downtown Palm Springs, The Tramway, and only a little over an hour to Joshua Tree National Park. If you visit in the fall take into consideration the golf course reseeding and closures. It was a lovely stay and I would definitely return. Thanks for offering your home to members of Third Home!
