May 2024Great relaxing stay
A little bit of planning and coordination led to the most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced. Joe the owner set us up with a captain that picked us up from the mainland and took us directly to the dock where his team was ready to help us unload and give a tour of the house, golf carts, and island. The sunrise is amazing. Our kids 18, 16, 13 all had a great time. We were concerned they might get bored, but there was plenty to do to keep everyone entertained during the day, and by evening everyone was tired and ready for bed. The house is very well stocked. We saw tons of wildlife on and around the island. My wife and daughter say it’s the best shelling they have ever done. The sunset on the beach is fantastic and you need to see at least 1. We rented a boat for the day and had a wonderful time seeing Manatees, Dolphins, and Sea Turtles (tip: refuel at a mainland marina before returning the boat as the fuel costs on the island are crazy, no affiliation to the house).”
